Man I remember installing custom roms on my GALAXY S2 back in the day. I had done so much research on what was the best one, and the steps it took to correctly do. I was so nervous the first time, scared that I would brick my phone.

The little white text on the black screen..... Made me feel like a movie hacker lol.

Honestly scary stuff happening. My once dream of getting over to the States, when I was younger, has now died out.

Honestly, I firmly believe we need some type of control on who can have pets.

I find I like having both.

Smaller communities / more quiet threads where I really participate and get in a conversation with people. Other times I just like having a lot of different threads with a lot of different information etc.

All these Draymond incidents just blend in with each other now. I can't differentiate between them all

Got a recurring donation to our local Cat Rescue. It's not much but it's a start.

Didn't realize it was a long weekend until about half way through the week. Partners out for most of the day and I'm looking forward to getting a lot of admin done today.

First stop is to go out and take a physical look at both the Kobo Clara 2E & Kindle Paperwhite E-Readers to try and make a decision.

Don't really know the specific ins and outs of different policys and all that, but really want solar to become more main stream, and with that, hopefully bring the prices down a bit.

Very keen to get some solar in the near future, and would love for some friendlier prices :)

Our parents adopted a cat a few years ago now, and they haven't installed a cat flap yet because he'll bring home a mouse, and they don't want him to bring them inside the house. So for now, they've been opening and closing the door everytime (they've setup a little security cam at the door so they know when he comes back), which unfortunately involves opening the door in the middle of the night.

So I've been meaning to try and build a "smart" cat flap that utilizes image recognition to detest if he's got a mouse in his mouth or not.

I had previously done a bit of research last year and gave up on it for some reason. Here's to hoping I get a bit further down the road this time, and have some success lol.

Interesting. I wonder if there are other instances of hosts pulling out of a major sporting event like this after they have been confirmed to host (and with such little time left).

I'm giving Lemmy a go, as I was an avid Apollo user. Have people on here noticed a noticeable uptick in engagement in here and across Lemmy in general?

Unrelated, but for no real reason whatsoever, I preferred HDMI over DP until recently when I noticed I was having noticing some weird behavior with my laptops and my usbc dock.

I did some testing with DP cables instead of HDMI, and it totally fixed it. Ive since been converted to DP.

Yeah, sounds like it.

I don't know anything about trains and how the network works, but I would have guessed that things like that would have been automated somehow. I guess I'm wrong about that.
