At this point, trump is just accelerating the military industrial complex eating itself. The whole bullshit with the embarrassingly openly corrupt SIG Sauer deal for a new rifle platform, Lockheed absolutely dragging their ass in deploying the F35, weapons manufacturers in a race to cram as much expensive bullshit as possible in their missles and "smart bombs", the consolidation of suppliers making fewer points of failure in logistics, etc. Hell, I can only think of one and a half things the us military has done recently that actually make some form of sense: that new Vortex scope is actually kinda cool af, and the F35 program is actually a good idea with decent hardware, just absolute bullshit execution, though. In any case, already not looking great with the wildly unnecessary transition to a new rifle cartridge and compounding supply issues.

Then there's trump.

All those super expensive missles we already have trouble scaling up production of? All gone. Don't worry, the contractors are gonna make a killing on resupplying those shits.

Ability to use allied countries for resupply? lol, byeeeeeee

Wasting military resources on bullshit political theater? You better believe it!

Trying to bring back naval warships that have been obsolete since fucking World War 2? Well, here we are.

Fuck yeah, we need way more of this attitude. Like, sure, there are people out there that do an apology tour as a grift, whatever, but it's absolutely insane how often people see someone legitimately trying to change and be better and will immediately shit on them like they need to be punished immediately. Do we really want to disincentivise people to change for the better?

I'm 100% unironically for literally punching nazis/fascists when they're doing their bullshit in public. The number one goal any rational person would have for a fascist is for that fascist to not exist. The best-case scenario for this is for them to no longer to be a fascist and renouncing fascism altogether. We must keep in mind that we must focus our anger on the system, not the people. That means publicly and viciously opposing fascism, but also giving people a way to leave that movement. You don't destroy the movement by opposing it alone, you must also starve it of it's members. If enough people leave a movement, that movement loses it's power. I'm using fascism as an obviously extreme example, but the principle(s) applies for any kind of malignant behavior/system.

When someone tries to leave some hateful bullshit behind, pull that motherfucker in. You lose an enemy and gain a friend. +2, bb!

Hell yeah, brudder.

It's not up to you whether or not others change or even care about being good. It absolutely is up to you to show them a better way in your own conduct, and sometimes with words should they be receptive.

Dichotomy of Control, boiiii

Holy shit. Directly treating the cause of cartilage loss with pill-form treatment in human trials right now. The shit we've been doing with medical science recently is fucking wild.

I'm not sure what you guys are worried about. All that extra heat will just dissipate into the atmosphere and eventually radiate into space. It's not like there's anything in the atmosphere that would interfere with this cycle... right?

All these years later and I'm still so pissed about how fox handled the show. Truly one of the great injustices of the century.

I still can't get over how hilarious the scene of Mal fucking with Simon about Kaylee being dead was. The cut to them laughing was so perfect. The editing was so masterful in the show.

I don't know who that is, but if I could verify/clarify by looking at their post history, I'd probably block them if what you say is true... ohhhhh hey, looks like the dipshit himself commented on this very post like an edgelord and is conveniently the most downvoted comment.

Joke with a message aside, I noticed I already had downvoted the guy multiple times before. Looks like he likes to post ai slop as well and becomes a combative baby bitch when called out. Even better, some of the ai slop uses the "hUmAn BaD" trope. And I did indeed check up on and confirm the cropping out artist credit. He's a combative baby bitch when called out on that, too.

Went from Windows directly to Arch and I just became an anarchist and (I'd argue) more masculine. Guess it's less about Trans and more about becoming more true to yourself.

Call me crazy, but I think maybe we should point the blame at the one invading another sovereign country? Just a lil something to consider.

Man, China as a country is certainly poised at this point to really pull some wild political optics with this move. Their manufacturing quality has been noticeably improving in recent years and their tech industry has a huge opportunity to show up western firms by undercutting the shit out of them in consumer NAND and DRAM. It would be wise of them to take QA extra seriously over the next couple of years to make themselves the "heroes" of the people by delivering better quality and dramatically lower prices than those bloated western companies. Hell, I'm even possibly in the market for it soon if the price is right. I have a feeling western corpos will continue snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and not notice that some of these Chinese corporations already quietly got their shit together a while back and probably won't shoot themselves in the foot this time. This could be the optical turning point for China as an economic power.

Hopefully the Chinese people can continue making progress in fighting the CCP bourgeois for better labor rights, especially with western corporations losing access to terrible enforcement of already inadequate CCP labor laws. The Chinese workers will start having a hell of a lot better bargaining position with this development and the ACFTU/CCP can get fucked.

Cops drag their asses in going after motorcycle thieves. -> Vigilante(s) go after motorcycle thieves, most likely out of frustration with police. -> Police organize manhunt for Vigilante(s).

The cops really asked "why have one problem when you could have two problem?"

I remember looking through some of those 'bOtH sIdEs' posts from media outlets showing some people celebrating and some people protesting angrily about Maduro's kidnapping. I couldn't help but notice there wasn't even a single instance of celebration actually in Venezuela. They were all dipshits in fucking Miami.

I just don't understand, are these politicians really that stupid? You do shit like this when the general public is more cognizant of distrust in government institutions, you start building factories for more Luigis. If your average normies are experiencing a noticeable and tangible decrease in standard of living, are personally and physically seeing more live protests, are constantly seeing a stream of authoritarian moves from the government, and you pile on this blatant miscarriage of justice seen from both major parties, where do you think people are gonna turn to for justice? And when you're this public and blatant about it, who's head is on the spike first, historically speaking? I really don't think everyone is prepared for the consequences of continuing down this road, because participation in the consequences will likely be much more mandatory than they have been historically.
