That article is dated, and a lot of the new improvements specifically offset a lot of the claims being made there which just looking at the tone seem to be more of a hit piece on ollama then an objective look to compare. While llama.cpp does have some minor benefits, a lot of the testing I've seen and done shows that they are minimal.

For me at least olama is easy to use, simple to set up, and gets the job done. People can use other tools that's fine, but as I said, I've been using it with no issue for a while now, and when I've looked at switching it just doesn't make any sense.

I've had zero issues with ollama, and every day I get closer to no longer using the frontier models.

Democrat turnout was pretty abysmal, and the media sanewashing of trump certainly contributed to some of that.

There were no locks of the booths, and phones were in fact occasionally stolen. But it was generally not worth the hassle, and so there were no locks. Plus they were meant to be accessible 24/7.

Finally, many times the phones weren't in the booth and we're just mounted to a wall. The booth was to give you some theoretical privacy and reduce background noise, that's about it.

Ground.news does a good job of presenting both sides, and even has a blind spot feature

The most troubling thing I saw in the video that he shot himself was that you can see him switching his phone away from his dominant hand. Shortly before everything went down. He was clearing himself to draw.

Keep in mind their original response was basically a" he's been cautioned that this is not professional" but nothing more. It was only after there was even more outcry that they went back on that.

Ground.news is my go-to source, and they have a very useful blind spot feature which specifically shows you stories you might not be aware of based on your political leanings

Stoicism. The two major figures that I use to discuss stoicism are Viktor Frankl and Epictetus. Epictetus was born a slave and was crippled by his owner, but eventually was freed and found a happy life teaching Stoicism. Viktor Frankl wrote about finding meaning in life even living in the concentration camps. While not explicitly Stoic, his Logotherapy lines up very well with Stoic principles.

As for the spiritual component: https://stoickai.com/...

Every time my wife or I look up a recipe we start singing "when I was a young warthog..."

Is they're a reason you don't want to just use tailscale for this? it's incredibly easy to set up and does exactly what you're trying to do.

In that dispute you spoke too contentiously: do not for the future argue with ignorant people: those who have never been taught are unwilling to learn. You reprimanded that man with more freedom than you ought, and consequently you have offended him instead of amending his ways: in dealing with other cases of the kind, you should look carefully, not only to the truth of what you say, but also whether the person to whom you speak can bear to be told the truth.” Seneca on anger book 3 36

Iirc there's a torrent of it out there, check tpb. I know I grabbed it a while back, I think it was like 50gb

Yup. Was going to install it but it's not there, so I'll wait. It definitely sounds promising though.

It's the circle of memes...

I love mine. It saves hours of work.

I'm from the US, but I believe they have a pretty good international representation, it's really just a news aggregator
