Pulse SMS App for Android recently updated to include:

On a messaging app, really??? Who wants any of those features when trying to message someone?

You should check out Stardew Valley. Super chill game that evolves at your own pace.

Don't like to fish on the game? Don't fish.

Don't like to go in the mines and fight stuff? Don't go in the caves.

Play on a PC and want to spend hours just modding the hell out of the game? Go for it.

Definitely not the correct place to ask, but does anyone know what brand or model ebike that is?

Great lists so far. I'll add one that I picked up from a previous thread:

URLCheck

URLCheck acts as an amazingly customizable and powerful intermediary when opening url links, allowing, among other things: to remove trackers, affiliate links, unnecessary elements, check Hosts, facilitating link holding and sharing, protecting against certain phishing techniques and many more...

I initially joined this conversation to say that there would be no way for anyone to deserve such a great shoe tying complement, but after researching your abilities I must say that I stand corrected. Bravo on your fantastic ability.

A gun can shoot someTHING, not only someONE. I've shot guns many times and have never shot someone. People forget competitive shooting is a thing (and very fun). I know I'll be downvoted, but just trying to show people there is another side.

Exactly right. I hate it when people pronounce it as gif instead.

Looks like more info at https://electrek.co/...

I have a regular electric scooter which has a handle that folds down. So the height shrinks, but the length is the same. Not a problem for storing it (for me), but I've taken it on the bus folded and it was very awkward.

So I'd imagine since the Honda's back wheel folds in, it might be a better choice. Just a guess though.

The door writing doesn't seem relevant, no. This cartoon references "Buffalo Bill" Cody, jokingly saying he could have gone down a few different career paths, but ultimately he chose the Buffalo route.

Except she didn't go to school in America. Instead she "enrolled in a program at the London School of Economics and Political Science as an international student."

As someone who currently uses Pulse SMS+ and has been looking for alternatives like Google Messaging, are there any major issues I should be aware of?

I liked Pulse since I could send messages from a desktop app, but I can't install it on my work computer any longer.

I also liked the WearOS app from Pulse, but they discontinued it.

When I first started Lemmy the general consensus was top 6-hour, so I start with that. When that gets boring I switch to New.

Is that your home address on the little sign? If so, you may want to crop that out of your photos.

Awesome Little Free Library though. We have several in our neighborhood and I really appreciate the community service.

I'm not able to help, but good luck with your search.

The RPi 5 was rolled out differently then previous models. His time they dedicated initial inventory to consumers instead of larger clients and allowed retailers to do pre-orders. They just started shipping and have not fulfilled the backlog of pre-orders yet. Until that happens, you won't see them in stock since they have already been claimed. I pre-ordered mine the first day and my estimated arrival time isn't until some time in November.

The biggest benefit is that I was able to purchase at MSRP and know they will get it to me as soon as earlier orders have been fulfilled. I don't have to constantly refresh the stock finder and try to order before scalpers snatch them up and resell for way above MSRP.

Reminds me of this Simpsons quote

"55? That's ridiculous! Sure, it'll save a few lives, but millions will be late!"

Not sure how to link a Lemmy instance, but this link should hopefully work: https://sub.wetshaving.social/c/wetshaving

This looks like a cool product. Not for me specifically, but I'm all for increasing access to cycling.

Injury: Just got here.
