I don't use adblock just so I don't have to see ads, I use adblock so that every time I view a news article I don't have 50 different domains grabbing my browser fingerprint to build a profile on me that can be used to bypass my 4th amendment right to privacy.
I don't think OP's link mentions it but iirc one of the major changes in Audacity 4.0 is supposed to be non-destructive editing. At least that's what I think I remember hearing like a year or more ago.
When you really look into it, piracy is often more ethical than streaming. Like, every time you listen to music on Spotify, the artists only really make a fraction of a penny per stream, and the majority of your subscription goes to Spotify CEO David Ek, who's using your subscriptions to fund AI for military drones.
It's a little crazy to me how the most popular tech youtuber struggles so much with Linux, meanwhile fucking PewDiePie, who's not known for being particularly bright, has been making videos about Linux and selfhosting and how fun it is to configure his system lol.
I see this topic come up often in conversations about degoogled Android and it makes me wonder what if anything I'm missing out on by just using cash/card for payments, cause not once have I been at checkout and thought to myself "man, I wish I could do this with my phone instead" but people talk about this like it's almost a dealbreaker that makes it hard for them to seriously consider switching to Graphene or Lineage or whatever.
My apologies, this data is misleading. Most of the new traffic is actually just me mass downloading and data hoarding porn across thousands of VMs. Whenever I need to rub one out I ssh into one of them and watch it that way. Keeps it off my main machine and keeps my browser history clean.
You're partially wrong. The cops were sent there to deal with complaints about people fucking in the bathroom, but in at least one case that we know of, they arrested a guy for literally just walking into the bathroom while wearing a rainbow wristband. The cops were bragging to each other about how many "fag pervs" they caught. People shouldn't be fucking in such a public place, sure, but I also don't trust these pigs' judgment very much either. Seems at least some of these cops are arresting people before they have any proof of wrongdoing.
