Well that sounds like more of a national security threat than a private email server.

Fair enough and I'm sorry if I sounded judgy. I I know it doesn't apply to everyone, but I think a major reason for Amazon's success is that they've made acquiring things too convenient. A lot of people (I know I did) fall into the trap of over-consumption. I've come to conclude that spending my money ought to come with a little friction.
I do this thing where if I need something, I go to a store and buy it. It has resulted in a lot less buying of useless stuff that I didn’t really need and ends up just taking up space. YMMV
When I lived in Colorado I had to go do a field visit to a site in northern Georgia, and I was talking to my colleague to get directions to the site. He kept saying stuff like, "Are you sure you can drive here? There's a huge mountain in between here and Atlanta." I told him I drive in the mountains all the time and I was confident I would be just fine. "OK, if you're sure. Be careful, it's really a huge mountain." He really went on about how treacherous the drive would be. Well, I made it to the site. Never did see any mountain. 😝
I have an aunt in Laramie and one in Cheyenne. Between their family and friends, I think I've met pretty much all the Democrats in Wyoming. Nah, just kidding. There might be a couple more up in Thermop.
