Haha i was in a rush and it was the first cutting board within reach.

Haha i was in a rush and it was the first cutting board within reach.
For sure, it got the job done.
Reason it's so vague is just because I lack the proper philosophical terminology to express it.
Personally I love some cabbage and sausage cooked up in a nice fresh chicken broth. But I definitely can see where the smell would be a turn off for a lot of people 🤣
Makes a lot of sense. I can't help but feel like a lot of the work people do is completely detached from their own community. Which inevitably begs the question, if it's so detached is it even worth it?
I'd like to read what Marx had to say about this.
I mean it's great cooking with people that have a teamwork mindset just like in a good restaurant. But with backseat chefs that barge in halfway through the cooking process wanting you to change up the whole meal it just doesn't work. It's like...OK but why didn't you tell me an hour ago? And this is gonna double the dishes to clean.
I was so hungry I couldn't find a plate that would fit all the food 😂
The dough is just standard all purpose flour. I could maybe be more specific but I'm not knowledgeable enough about the different types to say. Probably about 5-8 hrs total rise time. Thank you for the response, by the way. There's a lot of information for me to go through.
I vote chilli as well. Just made a batch with ground turkey a couple days ago. Cheap, relatively nutritious, and tastes pretty good imo.
Those scallops look juicy, cooked just the right amount. I bet they paired really well with your sides. Makin me sooo hungry haha
Usually not a fan of bottled dressings, especially with sugar. Just personal preference, to each their own. That being said, this looks really good.
Garlic and cumin. So versatile. Same for me. So many dishes from salsa to refried beans and salads. Gotta have garlic. Infinite possibilities.
"What is it you seek?"
I suppose this may be the problem because to be honest, I'm not sure.
Much appreciated, interesting points about the dough. I'll be reading up on that a bit.
After seein this, I realized I've been craving a good pie with olives and banana peppers for a while. Nice work, these look amazing!
Yep just steamed and salted/peppered. Should've put some butter/olive oil, more pepper, and maybe a little lemon and garlic on the veg. And definitely more butter in the potatoes. I think lack of butter is why the potatoes look kinda bland. Really it just came down to laziness 'cus I was so hungry I couldn't wait haha.
So true
Looks absolutely delicious. Nice flavor combo on the salmon. I've always wanted to get a smoker.
I would say that is the most useful interpretation of why we are hare. I try to live my life based on this but it can be challenging.
