The whole situation is super interesting, and something that many quick-trigger posters on Lemmy could learn some lessons from.

I miss old Radio Shack. But the the last few years it was around in my area, it was mostly a phone and tv store. It was a desperate move to stay current and in business. But it was awful. Very few small electronic parts in stock that I could buy. Just overpriced phones and tvs and some remote control toys.
