Why even have the system with districts? Just calculate all the votes and see who wins? If you live in a place where most people vote x, why even bother to vote y. Your vote will go straight in the bin.

Why does this person wear his rings OVER the gloves?
And then it turns out that it was himself last month.
I just bought 2x 8gb ddr3 for €25 so I can play games from 10+ years ago.
I find it weird how so many companies are targeting for layoffs instead of expanding the company. You get an accelerator..
I think the problem has always been there but now with ai it is magnified. There are always those people who don't care about quality and want to get it over as quickly as possible. Before ai they could not push so much work so their dumb low quality work was not so prominent. With ai, they are 100x faster than your high quality work. Your work isnt even seen anymore because it is overwhelmed by the low effort work.
You buy something from abroad and your country is adding an extra tax on it. Who else would pay the tax other than you, the buyer.
Tarrifs are great tool to make imported products more expensive so buyer will pick the local product.
I guess it is a reference to champagne. If wine does not come from the region "Champagne" it is not allowed to be called Champagne but just white wine. Even if it tastes just the same.
OK, fair point. I was a bit naive. I was looking at it from an European standpoint. The nights are cool here and the houses are all made of bricks and very thick insulation. In those circumstances it is possible to trap the temperature. In my house the inside temperature is currently 22C/71F and outside 34C/93F. No AC needed.
Don't be fooled by the headline. Look at the long term trend. It is still high. Just a bump. Its the same price as July 2025.
Its one of those walled gardens with a broken car and an upside down shopping cart in it.
Weird that this let's the stock drop since IBM has its own AI that can convert COBOL to Java(?).
And while the drop is big, also look at the price last year. It is around the same price as it was in August 2025.
I used to like clean architecture. I implemented it in some large monolith applications but later on changed it. What stayed is the seperation of things by giving a dependency to a module/struct/class/object (via a constructor). The object does not need to know what has been passed to it, only that it can for example store something. The storing of something can be saving it to an SQL database, to a file, print it to console, etc. So basically inversion of control. And the basic breakup between the domain logic/business logic and the things that does the heavy lifting like a database handler, API handlers, etc.
If not chrome, what is a good browser to use nowadays? I like Firefox but the last year I keep bumping in to websites that don't work so we'll on Firefox. Mostly web apps. So then what is left?
Yeah exactly! Any recommendations?
I switched to Smart Launcher. Tried all the recommended launchers for some time but none met my needs. After some time getting used to it and changing the settings, Smart launcher is the one.
So how does this work? First it is closing the borders so no one can enter and now the US border is expanding towards the people who you would like to keep out?
Yeah, that's always the thing. Sometimes it is good to have a strict guideline/structure to prevent a mess but that itself can be the source if the mess. As it n way to complicated with many unnecessary abstraction layers while a simple direct call to a function would also be good enough.
Yes, exactly.
Another option would be to lower the quality by using cheaper materials or downsize the product (10 % less candy in a bag for the same price)
thanks for using Leebra!
