What Trump is doing/does is unacceptable. But US citizens have been groomed to accept everything from their perceived leader.

EU has not been groomed to accept these things. They know to just ignore while they can and get ready for a trade war, cold war, or any sort of war.

I have read testimonies from other people who have gone through economic/political instability and hardship. What i got out of it is that prepping will help for a week to a month maybe. But after that preppers just feel dumb after that as all that work didn't mean much long term.

The only thing that universally matters is having community ties. Unfortunately.... USA aren't very community friendly or even have the opportunity to create strong local bonds. As all community events are during work hours so only retired people part take in those.

ifixit is such a wonderful company. I downloaded all their repair manuals so I should be able to repair 'anything'. And it does seem to be everything.

But it is telling that the richest man in the history of mankind acts like this. People should see that wealth does not equate to strength, intelligence, good politics, etc. But instead people see wealth as a way to get away with anything they want, even if it is completely embarrassing stuff that no one with self respect would even think about.

Its a good lesson to teach kids, because human's first instincts is to always judge and believe first impressions. This is obviously not a good outlook on life and will lead to issues and unnecessary conflict.

But yeah it is kind of bullshit once you are able to understand that first impressions CAN be wrong.

Also, children don't dress themselves usually. So the advise is definitely more relevant as a child than an adult working retail.

And honestly the OP should have a 95% accuracy if they are seasoned in retail. As a former retail worker, those skills were ingrained after the first month working there. It is actually baffling how easy it is.

Elon Musk will go down in history as THE EXAMPLE of greed and generational wealth will do to you.

He is the wealthiest man in history, but is still never satisfied. He will never be happy. And you can't convince me he is happy right now. His actions are not the same as a happy man, but one that is insecure. Literally every decision, action, and even conversation reeks of it.

As a past tax accountant.

I don't believe a straight tax will get the job done. Taxation is too unpopular to be realistically effective, and will just have corners cut in very easy and direct ways. Mainly because the masses are too stupid to understand how taxes work. I have had countless times people ask me a tax question after knowing I work in tax, I'll answer their question, and the answer is the same thing every fucking time no matter if its a friend, coworker, family, etc. "No that is wrong, what I think is correct actually". It is infuriating.

I think there are three effective ways to tackle wealth inequality.

1. Give workers ownership along with their wage. The 'owners' will of course have a bigger cut than the workers, but the current hoarding of ownership is what I think the key issue is. Our idea of ownership is the root cause.

2. Lobbying/bribes. We all know why this is bad, but it happens. Until this is fixed wealth inequality will never be fixed.

3. Loans. It is so easy for the wealthy to receive a good deal on a loan. Only because they already have money and the loan is not necessary. We need to limit loans on people who already have one successful business. Why are we allowing people who have prospered receive more money without more scrutiny? That is the definition of greed. As long as their BS and IS look okay to a bank, they will get approved with little to no follow up.

4. Distributions. In the US, when filing as a S-corp, they will receive no income tax. This is because they are then required to have the owners be paid a 'fair' wage to themselves. Why? Because payroll taxes are more compared to income taxes in this scenario. Problems arise when owners will obviously abuse what is a 'fair' wage. Lets say an owner gives himself a 30k wage because that is what is 'fair'. There is nothing stopping him from withdrawing 100,000 in contributions a year, and distributions are tax free with literally no oversight. The only checks and balances for this is they might have a basis issue later in life, but honestly that is a pretty small fine for essentially having all the tax free income they want as long as their biz is doing good.

*This is based off my experience as tax accountant/consultant for small businesses with less than 20 employees 2 years ago. Tax laws have changed since then.

My partner and I have played 4 hours so far. It is definitely a good game, feels smooth platforming wise. Also isn't 'easy' (casual gamer standards) since it has a lot of different types of gameplay that they throw at you and makes you think on your feet. For instance, my partner (who is a gamer, but only for certain genres) had trouble with flying/driving in some sections.

So far a 5/5 game. I did come across some bugs, but nothing annoying or game breaking. Just funny 'hiccups' like sticking to objects that can be fixed by just button mashing or something.
