I played Genshin Impact once when it first came. The routing from Australia to Asia was so bad that it actually routed to the US first, than back to Asia.

I actually got better ping by using a VPN to Japan or Taiwan before connecting to the game server.

Even if the law gets repealed, I still will not answer phone calls and emails from work outside of work. I don't work from home, nor do I get paid for it, so...

RIP Infinity, the only thing that made reddit tolerable on mobile.

These cunts are hellbent on killing as many Palestinians as possible, aren't they?

Already happened in Australia. I can't access NSFW channels, unless I do a face scan (no thanks).

"He [Dutton] should be backing Australia, rather than backing the Trump administration"

Ironic considering Dutton is so patriotic when it comes to Australia Day stuff.

“Everything is affordable if we choose to care about it”.

That's a fantastic quote right there.

Maybe Taylor Swift being a Pentagon Psy-Op holds some merit. She can even influence when exams are held in Australia 😳

First website I go to before booting up a game: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com

Southern hemisphere, renewable energy superpower...maybe?

Disappointed.

The only solid policy the LNP came to the election with, was that they were going to scrap the mining royalty tax. Okay then, what is their plan to replace that revenue...crickets.

Say goodbye to the progressive state we had, cause everything is going to sold off, sacked, and ripped to pieces.

It's literally a day off work for me where I can sleep in, nothing more.

A whole months wage evaporated into thin air. That's really freaking sad. I really hope they all can get something from the eventual liquidation.

Also this quote:

"Centrelink is not enough to support a family — it's probably not even enough to support one person."

Not even a safety net for them to fall back on, the whole system is cooked.

The cynical part of me believes nothing will come from this (maybe a slap on the hand), but quietly hoping this inquiry gets through the senate and something is done about it.

Over 5500 6200 6800 8100 👀 signatures now, looking good 👍🏻

School uniform for me back in the day was a white shirt, grey pants, and leather shoes. The only "school" part of the uniform was a tie and blazer with the school crest on it. And I even went through all of high school never purchasing said blazer.

This was in NZ nearly 15 years ago.

My point being, uniforms shouldn't be breaking the bank. If schools would simplify the uniform as to not be that unique to the school, they might be able to drive down cost as more readily available clothing could be used to make up the uniform.

"Let's wait for the pre-poll" has to be on the bingo card next time.

SteamOS is going to have to do a lot of heavy lifting. I reckon there are quite a few people who are waiting for its release before trying Linux.

Does SteamOS even have functional desktop, or is it just Steam big picture wrapper thing?

I must have missed that class in school, but isn't the point of a private school is meant to be privately funded.

Oh makes sense, I went though public education so I probably wouldn't understand.
