Believe me, I would love to be getting an EV. I live in an upstairs Appartement to, and have a parking spot that is about 5m away from the nearest structure, let alone outlet. I hope the charger situation improves within the next year, because that's about all the time I can give it. Thanks for the link btw, but it only confirmed that there are no viable chargers close by.

And here I am, looking for a new gasoline car because I can neither charge at home nor at work. There aren't even any fast chargers around as far as I know...

Let's be real here, we usually just stick all of them in a blender and pour ourselves one glass of perfectly mixed accent juice

Damn mosquitoes sound annoying AF!

So, average German here. Person I have never heard of gets an award I've never heard of. Doesn't seem very peaceful to me tho.

I'd say I'm interested in hearing the reasoning, but that would be a lie. It's been a while since I cared about any such awards.

This probably has nothing to do with maintenance. The plane was only two months old. Enough for some inspections, but nobody would suspect or look for cracks in the fuselage at that point. So it's probably a manufacturing issue.

I kind of hate to have to say this, but its ok to still like the stories. If you have to buy them, buy used, otherwise pirate. I can't possibly be the only one who was launched headfirst into allyship by the HP fandom and the more people that happens to the better. As always, JK can go fuck herself.

I hate to be that guy, but the first space rocket was one of the V2 test vehicles in 1944. It made it to an altitude of 176km Wich is most definitely in space.

Hard shell, it soaks up the Coke much better, when you dip it in.

Except, that your picture shows the continents in the usual Mercator projection distorted way. This type of projection makes countries nearer to the poles look way larger than they actually are.

Honestly, it's not just capitalism. Education is anywhere from free to really cheap in Germany, and we still don't get many people from poorer families into uni.

I see the main problem here as a sort of class divide between people with university degrees and people without. For example: if you work in a public library and don't have a uni degree you will never get more money than salary level 9 (4k/mo) just having a degree and not doing any more/different work more or less instantly puts you on 12 or higher (6k+)

This I think understandably makes people without uni degrees kind of resentful of those who do have them. And if you grow up resenting a certain group of people you are much less likely to join them.

So, no. "Just" getting rid of the cost won't magically get these people into higher education.

That shouldn't be a setback of ten years, it should be an automatic attempted manslaughter charge and exclusion from any job that gives immediate power over strangers.
