What I do is a hit the outside of the egg with the back of a spoon until it's all spiderweb cracked.

Then at the bottom (the fat end where the air bubble is) pock the tip of the spoon in and slide it under the membrane the it "spoons" the egg underneath he shell. Then you just twist the egg around the spoon and it seperate a the shell. Once you've done a rotation, lever the spoon away to split the membrane and the shell usually just falls away to a clean egg.

Israel needs to have a reality check. America needs to stop sending them weapons and ammunition for a few months/years as well as the rest of the world.

After they get battered because they can't defend themselves maybe they will be less arrogant and stick to their own borders.

Ya I'm sure I could find cheaper, but I currently get 150gb data. I'm on the road a lot for work and also have a cabin with no internet access other than through data so I can go through a fair bit.

My main point is that my plans were typically never being increased, only ever offered a decrease.

I hire for our company and a cover letter is definitely helpful in choosing who to interview since a resume doesn't always give a lot of useful information that helps us.

I don't care about your intentions for working, of course it's money or experience or whatever.

But things like hobbies, travel experiences, location and relocation opportunities, etc all have a factor on if I choose to interview them and often a lot of that doesn't get included in resumes.

To be honest I hate tipping but I find that to be the positive thing about tipping.

The thing is, if you know you will be tipping 20% everytime then you do know the price upfront. It's 20% higher than the menu price.

Then, if you get horrible service you can choose to give yourself a 20% discount by not tipping rather than fighting with management to give a discount.

"betrayed the Israelis"... Why does America owe Israel anything?

As a treat it's worth it once in a while but definitely not regularly unless you are quite wealthy.

You vote by selling your stock if you disagree.

Are more than 50% of shares not owned by Musk? If not, a vote wouldn't even matter.

Agreed. School focuses too much on stem. It should be there to prepare you for life. Go to Uni if you want to advance in stem.

School should also teach other basics like taxes, finance and budgeting.

Just put mayo on the outside of the bread and use that to fry it up instead of the butter. Plenty enough oil in the mayo

I'm not saying totally ignore STEM. But do 12th graders really need to know logarithms? Maybe take a few weeks to calculate your taxes instead and understand how tax brackets work.

I think people trying to convince others need to start comparing it to time vs items, not simple $ value.

Older people voting see $7.25/hour and still think that's good because it's X% more than what it was when they were young.

Instead market it as "The minimum wage should be at least three loaves of bread per hour, up from two loaves of bread."

In 1960 the minimum wage was about 4 loaves of bread. At the moment in Oklahoma it's 2 loaves of bread.

I've personally never had a problem with price hikes? If anything my bill has gone down randomly over the years.

I was with Rogers and then they said hey, switch to fido and get the same stuff for $10 less so I did. Was fine for a few years. Then Rogers had a deal and I switched back, got more data for $10 less.

Started at $80/month and now at $60/month with way more data than I'll ever need.

I'm not a sports person in general, but I have as much enthusiasm to watch a tennis match as I do to watch a game of ping pong. I don't get it.

Can Finland demand repayment from Israel then?

If it can, maybe everyone should just start funding reconstruction so if the new buildings get bombed Israel has to pay for everyone they bomb.

How old is that fuck? Cars have been around forever.

There were literal streets, wtf he talking about. You wouldn't be playing in the streets before cars came around. Were you playing on the cobblestone?

Not saying just use bread. Use any common item that is a staple. Rice, gallons of gas, etc. you can even do a mix, feel free to experiment. But using dollar value I think isnt very effective.

I browse /all for the most part. There are about 20+ communities on my block list so I don't see a bunch of furry/trans/penises.

The downside to the fediverse is all the repetitive communities across different instances.

How long before people start pretending to be ICE to basically break and enter into homes to rob people? Not like they can fight back, or even question things, or have due process, if someone in an ICE vest shows up at your door.
