I don't think the audience Vance's message is supposed to resonate with cares about being fact-checked, or facts in general.
Trump doesn't care if he's being fact-checked because facts don't matter to him, and his voters have the same outlook.
Oops, already ate it. Sorry, didn’t know it was evidence.
Guy Fieri?
I have a hard time feeling bad for anyone that loses money while trying to make money selling merch for politicians.
Viewing campaigning as an opportunity to profit through business is hella late stage capitalism in the worst way.
It actually makes sense as a campaigning song to me as long as your platform is about trying to address the social problems the song is highlighting.
Empathy is a hell of a drug.
Things like this do a good job of showing why regular "dumb" search engines will continue to be relevant for finding referenced knowledge.
Okay, I did some stretches and I feel warmed up.
My biggest complaint is that the answer to the question "So, we are forced to spend time and money on fighting crooked Joe Biden?" is "no".
He wasn't forced to fight Joe Biden. Instead of attacking Joe he could've focused on extolling his own virtues.
I feel like reacting this way indicates that he doesn't see himself as a candidate worthy of winning the election on his own merit.
Probably for the same reason I have a closet full of computer parts, except I can’t fit tractors and cars in my closet.
Never get into the details, that’s where the devil is.
I think women are cool.
They definitely abandoned the "do one thing well" philosophy.
Trump really doesn’t understand markets…
The joke was also explained in the title of the post "A Very Emphatic Answer" which highlights the exclamation mark (emphasis) on the answer as being important.
It’s both. People are misusing AI at the encouragement of companies who want to sell it.
What people want is factually correct information. AI doesn’t deliver this, what it delivers is competently presented and easily understood words which may or may not be correct.
Unfortunately, many people don’t understand how AI works so they don’t realize that they’re using the wrong tool for what they want to accomplish.
The reason AI is part of the problem is that it contributes to the spread of misinformation.
Verbing weirds language.
There’s nothing wrong with forever, but it shouldn’t be some sort of “standard” we hold everything to.
I disagree with your claim that knowing who is committing the violence doesn't matter. I think it is very important to know as much of the truth as possible behind every act of violence. More information and more intelligence allows for better decisions to be made. And knowing the truth is the only way to hold the correct parties accountable.
Sounds like someone needs psychiatric help.
