Big Brother Google is always listening, and probably would sell anything they've recorded to make a buck.

Maybe a lot of people in 2-party consent required jurisdictions should write in to google to state that they explicitly decline to consent to being recorded by google's bullshit

Wow did the people who did that to those kids survive? I'm just imagining how the parents would be motivated to break the facial bones of anyone that did that to their kids.

Yep there should be more road testing required as you get older, required for renewals every 5 or 10 years after age 60

Nah, the google monopolists can fuck off right into their own dumpster fire shitholes. I won't use any app that requires their privacy infringements. Freedom is the only way.

It's always stupid because they should be able to understand that bullets will not stop a car. There's no justification in the vast majority of the cases where cops spray bullets at cars, and it often results in the shooting of innocent bystanders.

Many years back there was an incident local cop who shot at a car's tires to try to stop someone, and one of their bullets bounced off the tire and was returned to sender - the cop shot himself by ricochet. He survived as it wasn't a vital hit, but I bet he didn't shoot at anymore cars.

The AI bubble depends on this kind of brainwashing to stay inflated. But they can't escape the truth, that AI is an answer looking for a question that isn't necessarily being asked. Sure there are useful applications, but I don't actually need it for anything I do.

It seems to be a big deal to people who don't know how to do a lot of stuff. I already know how to do a lot of things, and I know how to find info by reading when I need to learn something, so the most popular use cases for AI don't apply to me and I just don't use it.

That sucks and all, but I'm glad I don't need any apps or a cellphone to use my car. Offline car is best.

How about a third thing? People with no attention spans that look at their phones during the movie instead of paying attention to it.

Do they? As far as I know that is a lot easier said than done. You'd need a passport and a visa to allow entry to the other country, and the whole residence thing is another big hurdle. Not to mention the monetary requirement that expatriating involves.

I have read somewhere that the whole "bullet forensics" process is mostly pseudoscience anyway. A quick search found this article:

https://www.scientificamerican.com/...

If a shell casing wasn't ejected on the scene (like with a bolt-action not cycled) then all they would have to analyze is the what's-left-of-bullet which is possibly just a mess of lead and copper. May or may not have rifling marks left on it

Why the fuck would anybody install an APP to use a website?

(Puts on clown face) "Sure, I'll install this program on my pocket computer from the Urban Dictionary to save the time it would take me to open a web browser and type in the URL of it, all it costs is me giving direct access to my stored personal data and real-time activities"

Man, I really hope he does the double-flipflop on this and bans it again. Because Tiktok pulled the stunt this weekend to kiss his ass, blocking the app preemptively for the USA and crediting Trump with "saving" it with the popup message. This would be most disruptive to the propaganda pushers on both sides of the globe, and piss off the most people against them.
