My daughter just showed me the painting she did this week and this proud mum has to share it here. She doesn’t get her talent from me.

Woohoo I have been allowed to pat the fluffy belly of Phoenix. We got him as a rescue in January and he has finally let me pat him on the belly. Image is of a ginger cat on his back with a white fluffy belly and dirty paws.

I have two extra dogs for the next couple of weeks

After much coaxing and treats I finally got one of the three dogs, ours is Lucy in the middle with one ear up and one down, Buddy on the left likes sleeping and exploring and Roxy on the right is a hyper and anxious one.

When you want to cover your bases. At least they put the correct way first.

Garden is looking good today, I really should be doing some weeding. Image is a magnolia with a hot pink rhododendron in front on a sunny day

At least someone’s enjoying this rainy weather. Image is of at least 4 black cockatoos in a tree fern.

Lucy the dog’s stitches are out and she was very brave,no signs of apprehension, just excitement to meet the other dogs in the waiting room even the ones bigger than her. If anyone has got tips on how to keep a Jack Russell calm and stop trying to run everywhere, let me know:)

They are gorgeous, well done 💐

Sky pretty

When will the weeds stop growing so that I can just sit in my garden and enjoy the sunshine?

I used to sing this to my kids to help them learn the days of the week, until they asked when Whataday is.

Phoenix and Cosmo

Anyone else lick the potato masher like you’re 5 years old and your mum gave you the beaters with cake batter on them? It’s so delicious 🥔 🥔

Blue Hyacinths from my garden.

After breakfast always, I don’t understand why you would do it before unless you like minty breakfast?

If you belong to a library I would try there first if you just need one or two issues.

Sunshine being enjoyed as instructed.

Merry Christmas everyone 🎄

But the fire is so delightful.
