If you can't fix it, then get rid of it, and don't bring it back until we reach a time when it's good enough to not cause egregious problems (which is never, so basically don't ever think about using your silly Gemini thing in your products ever again)
She made some poor decisions, but that doesn't mean she deserved to be finished off by cancer.
I kinda miss the time she was CEO of YouTube, the chaos she brought to the website was just absolutely hilarious and funny. And now that Susan is gone, we'll never experience that era of imperfections again. Not that I prefer it over the early years of YouTube, it's trash by comparison, but still, it's the FUN kind of trash. YouTube today is the painful kind of trash, especially with content farms basically dominating the website.
Fuck cancer. Also, now that I said all that, I'm kind of expecting a stream of downvotes.
I'm kinda guessing they've never wanted that war to happen in the first place, they probably simply can't express that without being arrested or something.
Those who support the war are probably brainwashed by propaganda.
I'm from a third world country that has internet slower than 3G at times. And we don't even have sofas where I'm from.
Also, despite the neutrality of our government about this issue, most people are protesting in solidarity with Palestine.
I gave you enough clues. I'm Moroccan.
Those children could've grown up to do some amazing things in many different industries (and no, terrorism is NOT one of them), but because they're unlucky enough to be born in Gaza, they have to deal with constant bombing, lack of food and water, damages in physical and mental health, and eventually death, before they even turn 18. Sometimes it's even abrupt and sudden.
Has Israel not yet learned how cruel this is? And THEY'RE the ones that get all the funding to do this. Oh, but if I say anything bad about Israel then I'm "antisemitic" MY ASS. You're killing literal children and I want the whole world to know about it.
I also noticed how my social media usage (even on Lemmy and Mastodon) is consistently declining, I haven't opened the clients I use for either platform in days (or possibly more than a week). It's bad because I was pretty invested in the fediverse, but it's good because now I can actually do something productive, or even go outside.
I consider an example of "true freedom" as the following:
Don't ban the hijab, AND don't force people to wear the hijab. Just let the person decide what they wanna wear, and leave them alone if it makes you uncomfortable. Simple.
