What's the problem here? That's how I started with Linux.

And the moral of the story? Never ever should left-leaning parties enter a coalition with neoliberals. Thank you, FDP, for constantly sabotaging the government and destroying public trust with these actions. And thank you, Friedrich Merz (current leader the conservative CDU opposition party), for being a fucking loser who was losing constantly against other conservative candidates before and now thinks the party should embrace American culture war. So far, it has only helped the AfD, but I'm sure the good old Friedrich has a solid plan.
The only reason why this dipshit wants to get rid of the block feature is because he's probably the most blocked person on Twitter. People were sick of his dumb, unfunny brain farts getting pushed into their timeline and blocked him, and his ego can't handle it.
Fuck Elmo but I just don't want Meta to replace Twitter's social media niche. I would prefer if Mastodon would be the next "Twitter" but at this point I would be okay with Bluesky too. The Meta cancer is already big enough and has too much influence.
Jetzt mal ganz ehrlich. Wie viele davon sind lurker lauerer, die niemals mit dem Unter interagieren? Ja /r/ich_iel hat mehr Beiträge, aber dafür das diese Kommune hier nur einen Monat alt ist, läuft es doch ganz gut.
Posting pictures of Jon Oliver does nothing. A German reddit mod told me, that the admins themselves suggested that the German mods should do this kind of protest instead of keeping the sub in NSFW mode 🤡. The NSFW action + blackout was the only thing that actually hurt them.
It's always funny as, non American, to read about this naive anti- censorship slogans. Hateful political groups never stay in their places and play nice everywhere else. They brigade and harass every fucking time. There's a reason why every place without moderation turns into a absolute toxic cesspit.
Spotify bleeds money just like all the other streaming services and is kept alive by dumb investors that think, it will be someday profitable. Maybe they should stop trying to push so hard for podcasts and focus on their core business.
My best wishes to the Admins, the whole thing must have been exhausting and depressing. I purposefully stayed out of the entire discussion since I'm not a member of Blahaj. I think it's for the better, because I have read a lot in hexbear and the people there are absolute toxic and unhinged. The mentioned Lemm.ee thread was absolutely swarmed with people from hexbear. Like, 3/4 of the comments must have been them. Anyway, wish you all the best.
Öffne den Artikel und das erste was ich lese ist:
Reddit-Geschäftsführer Steve Huffman galt als Mann, der weiß, wie seine Community tickt.
Habe ich was verpasst?
My Instance, that was already defederated from Hexbear, shows around 300 comments right now. Watching this from lemmy.world, that's also defederated from Hexbear, shows a similar number.
Looking directly from the lemm.ee instance, this thread has 1300 comments. Whooping 1k difference. I wonder what that could mean? 🙃
Edit: Just to proof my statement:
Don't know. The thing with Mastodon is that you wouldn't find people to follow and it lacked features people wanted.
Lemmy here is way more entertaining already. Of course a lot of people will just check it out and go back but I think enough will stick around. Like a small subreddit you enjoy and slowly grows.
thanks for using Leebra!
