It was on a wedding. I was talking to a dude who got seated at our table. Somehow he managed to change the subject to gender and such, him not understanding why we need these new pronouns and such. I could already tell, that this conversation was heading in a bad direction. Then he said something like "I don't care if people are gay, but at least some years ago, they would hide at home and be embarrassed about it!" That was the point when I turned around without another word and simply walked away. He didn't understand what he did wrong. But I didn't want to make a scene at the wedding. Also I am certain that it has no use discussing anything with people like that.

As a German, it always feels wrong being at a HipHop concert, when the crowd does this arm up and down thing.

Yes, it IS not the norm. It's a minority. But that doesn't make it weird. Just because it's kind of rare doesn't make it a bad thing. It's been and still is the society that is making it weird for the people themselves. But I see a positive development to a more open minded and inclusive society, even tho the "angry people" who are against this are loud, they won't be able to stop it! And they know it, that's why they are so angry at everyone who's different as them.

Just a fun fact I remember from a tour some time ago: Artist would draw the whole picture beforehand and just add the faces of kids afterwards. Kids could not hold still long enough for a whole session. That's why some faces of children look so out of place in old paintings.

Die AFD hat längst mit einigen genannten Taktiken begonnen. Hier nur der aktuellste Fall, in dem die AFD sich bereits ihr faschistisches Nest baut. Ich bin ja froh, dass es gerade endlich mal einen größeren Aufschrei gegen die AFD gibt, aber es ist auch wirklich schon lange überfällig!

Ich finde es nur noch absurd. Der Typ war der Präsident vom Verfassungsschutz! Ich bin ja froh, dass ihm das endlich keinen Schutz mehr bietet. Aber es ist trotzdem gruselig sich vorzustellen, wen er und andere mächtige Fanatiker schon in entsprechende Positionen gehoben haben. Sein Vorgänger war übrigens zurückgetreten, weil unter ihm NSU Akten geschreddert wurden. Und dann wird ein Maaßen eingesetzt. Das kann man sich echt nicht ausdenken! Ist ja nicht erst seit kurzem, dass er mit seinen Einstellungen auffällt. Ich fand ihn als Kind schon scheiße und da hatte ich noch gar keine Ahnung von Politik.

Übrigens auch spannend, dass er erst jetzt nachdem er aus der CDU ausgetreten ist oder es schon angekündigt hatte, als rechtsextrem eingestuft wird. Es gibt so viele in der CDU die nur zu gerne der AFD die Hand reichen würden und viele rassistische Kackscheiße vertreten. Aber komischerweise wird von denen niemand als rechtsextrem eingestuft.

Keine Ahnung wie ein Typ wie Haldenwang es da so lange aushält und aufsteigen konnte. Aber ich hoffe er bleibt uns noch lange als Präsident des Verfassungsschutz erhalten. Er scheint der erste seit Ewigkeit zu sein, der ernsthaft den Rechtsextremismus zu bekämpfen versucht, statt zu schützen.

Das ist doch die Standard Masche der AfD und der Rechten im Allgemeinen. Einfach komplett die Rollen verdrehen. "Wir sind die Opfer", "Wir dürfen nicht sagen was wir wollen", "Lügenpresse", "Ihr grenzt uns aus", "es gibt einen linksruck im Land", "Ausländer sind gewalttätig", "ihr seid antidemokratisch, wenn ihr gegen eine gewählte Partei seid".... mir fällt bestimmt noch jede Menge mehr ein. Alles Dinge die tatsächlich auf sie selbst zutreffen, bzw. genau umgekehrt sind.

"Aus China" = ich bin mehr als skeptisch

Die Augen zu verschließen vor den vielen negativen Entwicklungen in Deutschland, führt aber unweigerlich dazu, dass uns auch diese Freiheit irgendwann genommen wird.

In anderen Bereichen sind glücklicherweise auch Fortschritte zu verzeichnen. Aber die aktuelle Stimmung in Deutschland halte ich durchaus für sehr gefährlich. Noch geht es den meisten hier gut und viele Freiheiten werden noch geachtet, aber das ist kein Selbstläufer. Eine Demokratie muss stets wachsam bleiben und viele Selbstverständlichkeiten immer wieder aufs Neue verteidigen.
