Not at all, i just do my own thing and others come to talk to me. I kinda lack the drive or whatever is forcing people to go and talk/socialize with others.

While shoes should be cleaned before wearing, she was right. Shoes and clothes in general should be worn until those cant be worn anymore.
Doesn't that usually go together with shoes starting to fall apart as well?
Got banned from Reddit eventually, they seem to have ramped up their detection abilities and banning.
Looked for similar alternatives and lemmy popped up.
That's not actually outside of the realms of possibility. Id just have to move to the northern part of my neighboring county and I'd be close to polar circle.
Well there's your problem. You're using messenger and emojis.
40c is already beyond tolerable heat. Personally 24c is the upper limit.
Not really, actually even more to the South, 59,4N.
Cant help it. My heat tolerance is abysmally bad. 24c is the last comfortable limit if I'm not active. Every point above that gets worse and by 25c I'm completely coverd in sweat constantly and performance drops, even sleep gets disrupted.
You make it sound like it's bad. Running basic daily chores on autopilot is rather beneficial. Like cleaning, cooking, laundry, basic eating, even sleep and overall daily routine. Depending on work even that can be done on autopilot. Frees up the mind to wander and think about something else or listen to audiobooks and makes sure that the most basic day to day tasks are done.
People often times complain how annoying it is to wash the dishes or do laundry or clean, running those on autopilot while barely even giving those the attention seems like a perfect solution.
Damn, I'm still going to use it until it stops working completely, but whats the next best alternative?
So were actually supposed to give attention to the most basic day to day chores?
Running basic day to day tasks on autopilot doesn't mean that it can't be turned off when those tasks are done. It's just a good way to maintain basic functionality, which overwhelming majority of life actually does consist of. Once the basic maintenance is done. Just flip a switch, turn the autopilot off and go enjoy your hobbies or yeah reassess and reflect.
I wouldn't say they're good people, just because they're immigrants. They're people like any other, there are good hardworking people amongst them and lazy slobs, but they're all unfairly exploited.
Of course depending in local laws, but in general it shouldn't be possible to exploit anyone. Regardless of their origin or what it says in their passport. Employee protection laws should apply to everyone equally in a given county regardless of persons nationality.
It would have just agreed and reinforced you and claimed you're the greatest to figure it out. Current LLMs just say whatever you want to hear, those have no understanding of what is right or wrong information.
My father died when i was around 8, so can't remember much about him. In addition i don't really see the point or reason to put up the charade of celebrating holidays either. So it's just another day.

Fair, that's rather interesting actually.
I do agree that mindfulness training and being aware of ones body and surrounding is and has been rather useful over the years.
I just wouldn't really want to do that with basic daily chores and prefer to have a specific dedicated activity for that.
I'll download that as well then. Thank you.
Thanks, I'll take a look at it an set it up as a backup.
Surprisingly well actually, despite all the depressive/negative stuff i write here. Oddly that stuff is mostly contained and whatever i write here is just more of an exploring my own mental pathways/thinking patterns, kinda like self-reflection.
Overall I'm functioning rather fine, health is the best it has ever been and of course that translates into being able to deal with the mental issues much more better than before too.
Work has been stable for years.
Summer might be kinda uncomfortable and bad time of the year, but not like it's the first one. Just gotta suck that one up and wear as little clothes as possible.
Hobbies are fine as well.
Of course everything isn't all that fine and dandy, but most issues are manageable or tolerable, if not fixable. Like food prices and general goods are slowly getting more expensive without the pay going up, but buying less snacks or "usless" stuff can balance it out.
thanks for using Leebra!
