I'm personally of the belief that there is so much AI art generated with stolen art data that I'd rather we not post it.

California should consider becoming independent and joining the EU😂

I compose music and study music technology. I'm one of two women in my year of 8. In my bachelors we had 100 students, 5 women, one nonbinary person.

It was rough. It's the usual not being taken seriously. Some people even have quite extreme views and think a professor mentioning that "women should have rights" is indoctrination of his politics.

So it was rough.

But I've also met lots of lovely people. And the solidarity between gender diverse people is great. I've found different game dev and music groups for underrepresented genders which are lovely. I imagine there's those types of groups in different fields :)

we should all start delegitimising the USA and call it what it is: a long lasting colony committing multiple genocides

It's so frustrating! I didn't have a vulva until two years ago, but always been a woman. So often people just speak over you.

The best one is when men who don't do the same job as you start explaining your job to you :') happened multiple times both in composition and community work :')

Fully agree here!:)

I don't know about Hazel! I'll have to check her out. :)

I've done sound design and programming for a small indie studio, and lots of game jams! And I make games myself occasionally. Don't really have ambitions to work for AAA games due to how corporate and impersonal it is hehe

Hi :3 I liked reading your intro! I've recently gotten into the Linux world, too! I have an old laptop that I use as our "media device" which has web apps for the streaming services we use :3

How's your day going?
