Why is there so much fearmongering around 4chan? Everyone that doesn't use it seems to think of it as an anomaly; when it is nothing but a somewhat "radical" (that too only some boards) social site. Also banning & doing something along those lines to the users of 4chan is the shittiest idea of all time.

The fathers of these dead children will simply have to live with the terrible consequences of their involvement with antisemitic terror

So the children have to pay for their father's crimes? This isn't really a justification, and they don't not care, now they have a real reason for retaliation—starting the cycle of hate all over again.

Electrocuting elephants has gone out of fashion, now it's killing monkeys with brain implants.

What is the endgame here? They certainly can't be delusional enough to assume that killing civilians or bombing facilities will ingratiate them with the Iranian people to overthrow the government or even making the government surrender; how many more people will they radicalize through this process? How many more lives do they want to destroy? When will the middle east have peace?

Google's control over the internet will harm all users as they scram further to find places where profit can be squeezed more and more until they're functionally bankrupt.

  • be satisfied with neovim config
  • see someone has created a shiny new config on github
  • add similar stuff your config
  • break everything
  • spend a week fixing everything
  • be satisfied with neovim config
  • repeat the above steps indefinitely

Istg microsoft has the most incompetent engineers, specially when you consider offensively bad apps like teams.

The protest was not only about the social media ban, people didn't give away their lives for a "social media company", no matter what some imbeciles claim, this is also parroted by international news agencies. Nepal has a culture of corruption centered around the three major parties that has achieved a crescendo with a slew of outrageous bills (some of the more egregious being: tracking all movements of tourists, ministers getting to set their own pay, removing age limits for public posts), the straw that broke the camel's back was the ban on social media with their vague requirements that was clearly a way to impose control. And by the way, they didn't shoot adults, they shot and killed kids that came from school with their bags still on them, who are still unidentified by the way.

I'd even add that even if this were only protesting the social media ban, it would be totally valid unless you like being cucked by your government. You yourself and the community should be an agent in controlling one's problems surrounding things like social media not your government that thinks you don't have enough agency for it.

They only implement DNS blocking so you have to change your DNS and everything will work again — this is also the case with their ban on porn sites. It's just an inconvenience to the citizens, all because they aren't competent enough to manage "criminal activites".

I've found that many of these solutions/hacks block legitimate users that are using the tor browser and Internet Archive scrapers, which may be a dealbreaker for some but maybe acceptable for most users and website owners.

I've found that AI is only good at solving programming problems that are relatively "small picture" — or if it has to do with the basics of a language — anything else that it provides a solution for you will have to re-write completely once you consult with the language's standards and best practices.

I am certainly not trying to offend americans or any other group of people. Pointing out the country of origin of widely used inventions seems like vain patriotism. Do the Chinese tell you to stop using paper currency because you were dissatisfied with it, or complained about it at some time?
