I enjoy that community as a non-participant. A user's decision to merely interact can reveal much more than they intended to reveal - super interesting to me. Just the existence of the community pits dudes with insecurities against their own lack of self control or social tact, for all to see.

Future me might comment there too quickly after overlooking the community name. I'll get a warranted Tsk and I'll see myself out. No big deal. It's not a kick in the nuts unless I make it one.

Doesn't seem like misreporting. I found other sources reporting it too.

I sent a text to those I love in any capacity, even former coworkers who've probably deleted my number. Not a group text - one by one. I think it'd be prudent for all US readers to consider doing the same.

Knowing some of you are like me, in that you might not know how to word such a text to someone not expecting it from you, I offer you my copy/pasted text:

America has a concentration camp now. I won't send you anything more...it's kind of rude that I'm sending this one. https://www.lbc.co.uk/...

The ruling is good stuff, but the article says that the GARM entity folded - old news yet news to me. That's an effect Musk aimed for, and got.

GARM (Global Alliance for Responsible Media) was a nonprofit purported to help businesses avoid having their brands advertised alongside bad content that may damage the brand. Bad Content Incorporated heard about it, and now GARM is no more.

A more interesting pic: Image

*Editing to say I didn't notice the sub, and I don't mean to suggest the OP pic was subpar. I just got excited and wanted to share the other images too.

u/Bennyboybumberchums says

And yet, you and every other social media user in the world, still chooses to use them to get worthless internet points. You may think your message is positive...

u/Bennyboybumberchums is a troll attempting to drive a wedge between the trans community and their potential future allies. It certainly as fuck won't change anything for current allies.

OP I'm sure you know that but I say so in this chain in anticipation of the troll being led out.

That's kind of overwhelming to me. It's like there's no bottom to that rabbit hole. I love it and I have so many questions.

Some women would be harmed by their husbands if discovered voting blue. I think those women feel a ringing in their souls when they watch that ad. Neut is grasping for any spin at all "ghwuaaahhh dishonesty!". If he was aware of the women who'd wear their husbands' reactions on their faces, he'd never admit it. But I guarantee the mere concept of sparking spousal abuse hasn't even occurred to him, that he's not seeing past the "dishonesty" part.

It's like waving salami in your derpy blind dog's face but he bites air 90 degrees in the wrong direction. Shit you'd think his smeller's busted too. How the fuck he manages to use the bathroom without tracking his own shit through the house is a fukkn X-file.

I dragged my introverted ass to 10 houses on my street in an attempt to find a shred of US political solidarity in a red state. I got 7 no answer, left 1 Ring Camera message, 1 polite declination, and 1 prison guard who "doesn't really watch the news". I felt awkward as hell but I remain excited about talking to enough people to find 1 or 2 who are like "You think this is all insanity too?!" This isn't the "topic" OP solicited but as an introvert it feels valuable to share here that I felt good after forcing myself to break that ice.

I am easily spun up talking about myself. Getting me talking isn't too hard, but I start to feel introvert exhaustion once I think maybe I'm talking too much or I find reason to doubt the person wants to talk any further.

Movies/shows have been good topics for me. Enough people have seen Spaceballs, Interstellar, The Pitt, Marvel that people's inner nerd pops out like a Jack in the Box when their fandom comes up. A coworker and I once had nothing in common, but I brought up Mystery Science Theater 3000 offhand and she cut me off to shout "I LOVE EMMESSTEE THREE KAY!!"

I hit the 50 cap, then deleted about 30 unnecessary notes, and STILL couldn't create more notes.

I replaced it with Draft Notes.
