maybe in this case social media is keeping him young and his brain stimulated
at first I thought this was a post talking about spacehey which is cool but I don't think I'd want to use another social media run by a big tech company.
Meshcore has been promising especially with standalone devices like the tdeck in my area but meshtastic doesn't seem viable as the 7 hop limit and DMs barely work.
the post I thought was a bit of a joke, I did not think people would take it so literally. Of course someone above the age of 90 is going to decline due to age alone but I feel like it's also a reminder of how much social media can suck the life force out of a person.
Can't compete with that stuff
you forgot "Jerking us around"
the more we keep pushing back the more we can try and make them obsolete!
I can't believe people still use chrome I can't stand ads or not being able to play videos in the background.
The best sma antenna for portable nodes is probably the muzi antenna. Use one on my T deck and one on my wio tracker l1
I use MC because the network is finally being built out in my area and I can actually successfully send messages over MC. I do wish there were better open sourced companion apps for MC though.
been swapping between mapme.sh and meshmapper. More people in my region are using meshmapper but I don't like that the app requires google play to be on my device while using it.
with meshmapper, luckily there's an option for busier regions admin to disable "hybrid" mode and only allow for passive mode which doesn't bog down the mesh as much. I'm not sure if mapme.sh is able to be controlled by each region though.
been really enjoying meshcore and being actually able to send messages so I hope that people keep adopting it and using it. And this reminded me I need to check my solar repeaters and make sure they're working as it's nice out today!
the connector youre looking for is an ipx to sma pigtail.
I use Tello and Redpocket. Redpocket is my test sim for 2G devices and my main line is on Tello. Both cost around 10 bucks a month. I should probably give both privacy policies a read, I'm sure nothing in both of them is good though.
I would love to see one of these in person once they release!
thanks for using Leebra!
