all hardware ever made for computers works on (Windows)
Let's assume you're talking about Windows 3.x from the 90s all the way to current Windows 11. With that assumption, this is demonstrably false. There are devices from the 90s and early to mid 2000s that don't have drivers for Windows 8 and up. While Windows does have better backwards compatibility than Linux overall, your absolute statement is false.
Funnily enough, some say that Linux has a better backward compatibility with Windows than Windows itself.
(Windows is) very fast with modern ssds.
All operating systems are faster with faster storage. What point is this statement trying to make?
Maybe to preempt a counterargument that Linux distros are lighter, i.e. needs less resources?
adobe apps work ,ms office works (in Windows).
Absolutely true. If you need those exact applications, run Windows.
I seem to recall that someone patched the Adobe installer to make it work with Wine, so I'm not sure if there's an argument to be made here.
Obvious ragebait, but I like reading these types of comments so I don't need to address them myself lol
I went through same scenario a few years ago. At the time, I used Firefox with uBlock origin. Brave is chromium based, so don't expect lower RAM usage from it.
If you're using Linux, look into zram and zswap. The first one gave a second wind to my notebook back then.
Like, even in the end they admit that they will not give the Kens true equality, just enough that they basically won't revolt again.
That example isn't really accurate, they say the Kens eventually will be given the same representativity as the women in the real world. That line is more of a jab against gender inequality than anything.
Short answer, yes. Long answer would be mostly due to the environment minister not being the one nicknamed "Mr. Chainsaw", and instead is one of the most respected and accomplished environmentalists in the world.
I found Amazon just won't stream full quality on Linux browsers for some reason, I forget why exactly but it's very annoying.
Because of Widevine, i.e. Google DRM. The DRM "Level" determines the quality a device can stream, Linux desktops can only stream 720p content, for the most part.
There's a plugin called PhotoGIMP to make it look like PS.
And there's also Photopea, I used it to make my community icon.
thanks for using Leebra!
