Edward Snowden doing GPU reviews? This timeline is becoming weirder every day.
This shouldn’t be omitted from the meme. Astronauts are some of the most level-minded people in this world, given the risks they face every moment.
I don’t think jealousy or insecurity would be a common occurrence given how busy they are.
Ads didn’t make 10 billion, Google charged advertisers 10 billion. IMO ads have gone so pervasive they’ve hit a point of diminishing returns. They’re everywhere, we hate them, and those 10 billion spent would have to bring many more billions in sales to be an attractive service.
I can’t wait for the ad bubble to burst, as advertisers understand they’re just giving money away to megaadvertisers for paltry conversions.
This was clear since such a big and supposedly effective intelligence apparatus failed to stop or warn about the Hamas attack that gave Israel pretext to go full ethnic cleaning and warmongering.
They knew, they allowed it, and paid a modest price in Israeli casualties to kickstart their plan. Also, Ukraine was attracting all the war funding, they couldn’t risk USA reducing their military allowance.
I hate that USA is enabling them, and at the same time being hipocritical about wanting a peaceful solution. Cut their funding if you want to stop them. Freeze their assets like NATO did with Russia. Act, don’t talk.
Clinton was impeached because he lied about a consensual blow job, yet this orange mf seems immune to consequences, more than that, actively shielded from them.
IIRC he was a talk show host, and I’ve always thought he was so flamboyant as a parody of how talk show hosts prioritize the show rather than the talk.
I think he is a brilliantly designed parody character, but some people have taken him too seriously.
Considering gaming experiences are usually more enjoyable than real life, I’d like to ask what’s outside like before logging out.
Holy cow that’s a very real danger I hadn’t thought of! The industry needs a new trend to reuse all this capacity they built, because AI will likely scale back as many startups fail to reach profit.
Renting your home computer might be the next trend, and it could be gratis at first so people get used to it. Why spy on users when you can actually own their computers?
TBH Plex is years ahead on maturity, their dev team is excellent, unfortunately it seems like enshittification has begun for them.
Support Jellyfin not because it’s better, but because it’s open source and it puts users and tech first. Don’t expect it to beat Plex’s performance, quality, or cross-platform availability yet, but expect it to become better as more people donate or get involved.
Comments and full-length names make the source way more accessible.
Specially when those companies are valued in TRILLIONS. Nothing is worth trillions, somehow these surreal numbers have been accepted as hard fact.
Probably because beautiful melons had it easy, while the ugly melons had to work on their personality and talent to make up for the shunning they got from the melon community. Big Melon always presents attractive melons on media, making it harder for ugly melons.

The intro they speak of is the phrase “War. War never changes”. That article could have been a single paragraph.
His turns in Fallout are especially interesting because they're his most iconic videogame work, and yet it's only four simple words: "War. War never changes." The intro to each Fallout game spins off differently from there, but those four words are an essential pillar of the series, every bit as thematically foundational as power armor or Nuka Cola.
I’m so jaded these days I can see a writer doing a few paragraphs, and asking an LLM to fluff it up.
Crazy how USA seems unable to keep up, and it appears its best chance of maintaining hegemony is bringing China down, not improving itself. Never expected to see this shift in my lifetime.
Apple has teased with making the iPhone-as-a-service, meaning you lease it instead of owning it. The tariffs might give it the pretext it needed to go ahead with the idea, because the alternative would be sacrificing some of its abundant profit margins.
The next question I’d expect from a little kid would be “why is your hair long?”.
And another why, and another, and another…
Yeah, let’s make a UN meeting all about me and my domestic politics rivals, that’ll show the world my stature as a world leader.
TL; DR: Author played chaotic evil as a child, and lawful good as a he matured with adult life.
Saved you a couple of minutes.
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I wouldn’t be surprised if most ships received this call several times. Specially exploration ships.
Except for the one at sector 001, I think they were pranked.
Edit: had to redact my comment to not waste the excellent reference someone made below.
