I'm part of the Caucasian Caucus (reference). I wanted to hear from our fellow Fedi users who were black, and hear how things have been for them here. I was going to make a follow up question, to ask them how we could make the Fediverse a more safe and welcoming place for them. It was all with good intent from me. Just wanting to make the world a better place, in any way I can.
If someone can't find humor in their errors, life is going to be a lot harder for them. It's not just about people learning and practicing being nice. You and I, the error making people, need to also do our part. K love you. Good bye.
Swear words.
Hahaha. But on a serious note, I 'logic it out' as a coping method.
Example: If I'm feeling insecure about myself but need to go grocery shopping, I will do my best to think of logical likely situations than to the ones that are preventing me. 'I'm worried about the traffic on the way there and/or back.' That's ok. Plan to go on a day that is less likely to be busy and do it at an off hour. 'I don't want to see or hear how much it's going to cost for groceries.' That's completely understandable. You're not alone in that discomfort and stressor. How about we just buy the things we really need this time instead. Would that work?
Often times, 'logicing it out' helps me. But not always. I try to be more patient with myself as well, as these are things that I want and need to do, but yelling at yourself for not doing something or another the day you said you were going to or wanted to, doesn't help (as it turns out.) Somewhere online years ago, I read something that really helped me. It said, "If yelling at yourself to do something worked, it would have worked a long time ago."
In case you weren't aware of JPMorgan Chase's history and their involvement in making World History.
Our European counterparts are laughing at us, who don't take a month off every year. And for some reason, this is how I see them doing so.
Actually, he's an 'angel' that has fallen (or returned to Earth because 'God' got so tired of dealing with him) from heaven. That's why they play church choir music during the intro scene.
One that made me feel like I had wasted time watching the show was How I Met Your Mother. It was a fun show and really picked up in quality in seasons three - five. They could have ended the show in season 7, really, if they had planned for it. Season 8 was kind of a bore, and season 9 was bad, as all of the season took place over a weekend. And when we got the finale of the show... I was so tired of holding on to what might come that it really hit me negatively how they ended it.
That being said, Game of Thrones ended so poorly that I was baffled as to how haphazard and dull the writing and storytelling was that I, just like a lot of others, held on to hope that the last few episodes might bring things all around. (Morgan Freeman as Narrator - It didn't.) While cracks were showing since late season 6, the finale of that show was horrible. The payoffs didn't come, and everything just felt so rushed, watered down, and a tremendous feeling that content was missing from the season, if they were to help make sense of the finale.
Here's a mp4 of her getting it done.
Also, at this point in this weird as fuck timeline, I don't doubt that someone would do this.
