Late taxes, quarterly taxes, early taxes... There's always taxes, but yes a lot of the h&r block types only do tax prep for a few months and another job the rest of the year

Agreed, it's more like joining a club and finding that it's full of your ex's other exes than going on a date
As a forever GM, this is one of my favorite tropes, it's usually one of the driving forces in my worlds, I tend to prefer narrative power struggle type top level conflict in my worlds and this trope just makes for such fun gameplay.
Either there's multiple influential organizations vying for control of the ancient tech, or a group of userpers that found it, or the current ruling org is using it, or it was undiscovered until the PCs activated it (a good way to also be able to fluidly integrate a chosen one trope into a group without one single chosen one)
In a magic world, pure magic gets stale and starts to feel all the same, but replacing some of that magic with ancient tech can add a lot of fun flavor that doesn't need to upset game balance and can provide power advancement in ways beyond experience and level ups.
Habitual inclusion of sales tax but not other fees
At 15 per ticket it's more like $42
I don't see anything like that, there's no moderating other instances beyond defederating the instance. You can't moderate the Nazis from other instances
Not only that but the inspection report on a house is a bargaining tool
My 700 dollar report lead to 10,000 in savings at closing on my house... Worth every penny
A reminder that this war isn't new, even before the mass consolidation of TV stations, they got together to standardize commercial break timing so it didn't matter if you changed the channel because you were just switching to commercials on another channel
I have a strong suspicion that a vast majority of retirement account shares can be pulled from their tax advantaged accounts with much less penalty than people think with a little strategy and selectively choosing shares that are in the red especially.
The fear of paying tax at MOASS makes no sense considering that the solution is just to liquidate a couple more shares to make up for the taxes.
It's so weird at 110% he has a normally sized face and looks completely different
Not me but my fiance, it was the only thing that brought her out of a months long paranoid psychotic episode, intensive medication, involved observation, multiple times a day therapy sessions with actual psychiatrists etc. She hated the experience, it's like jail but with softer furniture. It took about 2 months before they were comfortable signing off on her release.
This kind of mental health rehab doesn't seem to be what everyone else in here has in mind though, everyone else just seems to be talking about going to counseling rather than actual inpatient treatment
Jolly ranchers just don't have the shelf stability for the candy bowl, there's no getting around it.
A whole 25 million dollars for Amazon? Call it a fee at that point, it's less detrimental than the 30 dollars I pay every year to keep my best buy card active
A true blast from the future past
Are you sure the app remembered it and it wasn't auto filled by Android, the system will remember usernames and passwords separately from the app data and auto fill
I don't know what it's like in Australia, I'm in the USA and just bought a house nowhere near as expensive as hers. I did my due diligence about the entire process, I knew what it takes to be an inspector, I knew not to trust a seller's inspection. I spent 5 months looking at houses, passing on houses over and over. I found my own inspector that I trusted.
I appreciate that this girl is spreading awareness, articles like this are how this kind of knowledge gets out there, but there's no excuse for spending almost 1 million dollars without doing at least a basic Google search for "what should I do before buying a house"
There's a few answers but none of them are the real answer.
It costs next to nothing to include in the car but adds a substantial amount to the selling price OR it doesn't add much to the price but adds substantial perceived value from the buyer's perspective
It's a legal override to an invitation. Does the vampire care about the law? I'd say no, a legal authorization to enter uninvited does not qualify as a mystic override to enter uninvited
Softbank doesn't seem to be having many hits recently
No dispensary here accepts anything but cash because of the legalities anyway
Characters that are based on jokes ALWAYS end up being the best characters. We use humor to deal with things and those very real things start as humor but get processed over the course of a campaign into real emotion
