Vespucci is a step up in complexity to StreetComplete, but lets you perform node additions. That's wat I use when out and about alongside StreetComplete.

I found "A Canticle for Leibowitz" an astounding read. More apocalyptic than dystopian, but solid.

Something like a Telestar Digibit should do what you're after. It's a Sat>IP box that takes dvb-s and dvb-s2 transponders and pushes the transport streams over IP. From memory it's UDP.

They take a bit of configuring, and there are some alternative firmware variants out there too that add more functionality.

As others have noted, the final episode and random sexualisation were disappointing, but I really enjoyed the writing round how Star Fleet would (will) come to be. It filled in a good number of gaps in the lore.

The theme music? I laughed at it at first, then when they reversioned it in later seasons, I remember at the time thinking "how could they make it worse?". But now on rewatching, I've fallen in love with it and think it's the perfect tune for the show.

Plus the occasional nod to Quantum Leap were appreciated.

Cracking TV is glorious if you like 1980s/1990s TV.
