Good question. I think it has multiple reasons.

1. It's not that all my posts are meta, but the meta one's are the most successful.
2. I want to contribute content to lemmy, so that it will prevail and attract new users. I also make memes on things that are on my mind, which is lemmy, when I'm on lemmy.
3. Well I could post memes about very niche topics, that I'm interested in, but I think that they wouldn't be interesting/funny for most of the users here. While content about lemmy is most likely interesting/funny for the users here.
4. I think shitposting is rather often meta.
5. In the last days not many things happened, that would be memeable.
6. So that can see that it's OC.

But I take your comment as a challenge to shitpost more on other topics.

Das mit Abstand beste indische Restaurant in der Gegend ist meiner Meinung nach Copper Bowl in Esslingen. Das gibt es deutlich andere Gerichte als bei den meisten anderen indischen Restaurants, ist südindisch und es gibt z.B. viele verschiedene Dosa.

Ebenfalls in Esslingen befindet sich der Burgerladen The Ladies Diner, dessen Milchshakes allein vermutlich den Tagesbedarf an Kalorien decken.

In Ludwigsburg gibt es mit dem Taskin einen tollen kleinen anatolischen Imbiss, mit recht großer Speisekarte.

Guten veganen (aber auch nicht-veganen) Döner gibt es beim Dilgelay in Stuttgart-Ost.

Wer richtig gut arabisch essen will, kann ich das Restaurant Bagdad in Canstatt ans Herz legen. Allein schon für das frische Fladenbrot lohnt sich der Besuch.

In Mitte kann ich den Imbiss Beirut empfehlen, ein kleiner Imbiss, der leckere libanesische Gerichte anbietet, inklusive das beste Taboule der Stadt.

Wer die iranische Küche schätzt, wird unter anderem im recht zentral gelegenen Safran glücklich.

Das beste Eis mit Abstand gibt es natürlich nur in der Stadmitte und zwar beim Old Bridge.

Keinen Konsumzang und Pay What You Want hat das Cafe Raupe Immersatt, wo es auch FoodSharing gibt.

I'd recommend American Factory from 2019. It's about a Chinese Billionaire reopening a car factory with many workers that were formerly employed at the old factory operated by GM but now they are facing lower pay and bad working conditions. The film also shows the culture clash between the Chinese foremen and the American workers. Some American workers are invited to the main plant in China which is very surreal experience. It's very interesting to see the change of mind of the American workers that started with hope and motivation. Some scenes of the movie made me as a European even think whether it's really a documentary or staged. American Factory also got very positive reviews.

I can definitely recommend Valheim which is currently 40% off and runs on the Steam Deck. It's one of the best games that I ever played, especially co-op. It has combines several genres and has many great mechanics. For example food gives you additional hp and stamina. If you forget to eat you won't die, but if enemies attack you, you propably will. Since it's early access the developers are still developing it and are constantly adding new contents. But even now the game has so much content for many, many hours.

Our medium term goal is to finally defeat The Elder but since we died two times trying to do so including loosing our armor in the remote island that he is located at, we plan to establish a small base with a portal on his island, but currently we are gathering resources (especially copper) for our trip in order to upgrade our armor to max.

My point was that the pickup artists who claim that they are helping or empowering young men are in fact not helping them to get a healthy attitude towards the other sex or enabling them to be in healthy relationships. Instead (most of) the tips of the pickup artists are in contra productive and will make you sad, angry and alone. I don't think it's in their interest that you get healthy relationships, because that would mean that they would loose a client.

And I also do not think it's a good idea to suggest suicide to troubled teenagers.
