It's not just the current administration; it's every administration.

It's not just the current administration; it's every administration.
I swear this is purposeful for a lot of websites; they make the mobile site run terribly to push people onto the app instead, presumably because they can collect more data that way.
I'm still not believing any reports of drama between the US and Israel until some major observable, material change in conditions occurs.
Notbreading the article, but I suspect the question is being asked of landlords, not renters. Some do income checks and won't accept you if the rent is more than 30% of your income.
Mine too. Though I'm sure there's could've been other factors at play as well.
Given Ken Klippenstein's recent article about the FBI pursuing terrorism investigations against minors, I don't think this is coincidence. I think they actually want to cut teens off from viewpoints that oppose the regime.
If the US regime actually wanted to stop Israel, they could stop sending them boatloads of money and materiel. The fact that they haven't stopped materially supporting Israel renders all of this hemming and hawing about how the US allegedly doesn't like it moot. It's all theater to keep the Western public from questioning the narrative.
It's so hard for me to read anything by Cory Doctorow or Ed Zitron these days because there's always this giant, gaping void where class analysis should be. Is this the time they finally connect the dots, I ask myself? No! It's never the time. It's always enshittification this and business idiots that and never, ever a single whisper about capital. Brian Merchant and Ed Ongweso Jr. are much better in this regard - if you haven't read anything by them I recommend you start.
As to the actual content here, this is precisely what the internet was always created to be. Do you think the DoD sorry, DoW created this as a happy accident? Just to help people? It's always been intended as an anti-informational weapon and a surveillance network in-one. And all the attempts by vassal states to wriggle out of the trap will prove futile. China is the only country handling it the right way, and no capitalist nation will ever have the motivation to follow their example. There's too much money to be made in making their own little tech fiefdoms.
I guess they're announcing their false flags in advance now.
This is just ID verification in another guise. The second I see one of these, I'll stop using the website I see it on.
They're just getting them younger and younger, aren't they?
Part of the problem is that most of these privacy-protecting search engines are just the big search engines re-packaged; DuckDuckGo is Bing, and Startpage is Google. SearchXNG is just an aggregator, and so is Kagi. What we really need are some alternative engines that function as well as Google used to. I would be willing to pay for that, as relying on ads clearly doesn't work.
And are they going to require ID to verify birth dates, or is this just going to be a drop down menu? If the latter, I'm pretty sure everyone's birth date is 1/1/1901. I'm so tired of this surveillance shit masquerading as "save the children" nonsense. I hate to say it, but this is a parenting problem and if your kids are more tech-savvy than you are, they WILL find a way around these safegaurds.
I cannot imagine being excited by advertisements. Sounds like something out of Fahrenheit 451 or Brave New World.
Actually existing socialist states exist under constant threat from the US empire and until the empire is well and truly over it will not be possible to achieve actual communism. The fall of the USSR was a tragedy, and not one I'd like to see repeated.
If they thought we could vote our way into socialism, they wouldn't let us vote.
Aside from their nuclear capability
That's a pretty big 'aside'.
This is the one. You can add podcasts through RSS feeds. No accounts, no subscriptions, no nonsense.
Would love it if they were making a sedan or a subcompact. Not everyone needs or wants a truck.
Oh, sweet summer child. The Democrats don't even have an interest in reforming the system, which is why nothing changes even when they have a majority in congress. Reformism is dead. Only a revolution can save the working class from the stranglehold of capital.
Now, is a revolution in the US forthcoming? Unless conditions change dramatically, I would say not. But we have entered the weeks where decades happen and left the decades where weeks happen. If you want to be prepared, organize and read theory; having a reality-based perspective will help you regardless of where we're headed.
