Given Ken Klippenstein's recent article about the FBI pursuing terrorism investigations against minors, I don't think this is coincidence. I think they actually want to cut teens off from viewpoints that oppose the regime.

Part of the problem is that most of these privacy-protecting search engines are just the big search engines re-packaged; DuckDuckGo is Bing, and Startpage is Google. SearchXNG is just an aggregator, and so is Kagi. What we really need are some alternative engines that function as well as Google used to. I would be willing to pay for that, as relying on ads clearly doesn't work.

And are they going to require ID to verify birth dates, or is this just going to be a drop down menu? If the latter, I'm pretty sure everyone's birth date is 1/1/1901. I'm so tired of this surveillance shit masquerading as "save the children" nonsense. Actually existing socialist states exist under constant threat from the US empire and until the empire is well and truly over it will not be possible to achieve actual communism. The fall of the USSR was a tragedy, and not one I'd like to see repeated.
