He is trying to claw back .2% of what he paid for Twitter... Why does he even care? That's like a normal person trying to claw back 40 bucks on a $20,000 purchase but not really because it's less than a rounding error compared to his networth

Personally I enjoy hearing about the reddit drama. I don't spend nearly as much time there as I did before they broke my beloved sync so I enjoy getting to read about the ongoing shenanigans over there.
But it doesn't though. That information has been subpoenaed from signal in the past. They don't have access to it to give. This is public information.
Another vote for Bitwarden just in case anyone needed one more comment to get them to use it.
I use bitwarden for 99% of my 2FA. The rest goes into both Google Auth and Authy.
Who actually manages to look at 10,000 tweets a day like holy shit do these people do nothing but scroll Twitter for 24 hours a day?
What do I do if my woman does that though?
Just installed liftoff today. I like it a lot better than trying to use the browser but I'll probably stop using it once @ljdawson@lemmy.ml gets sync out.
I didn't really start to use Lemmy until after the API shutdown. And even in that length of time it's been remarkable. The first week without reddit Lemmy wasn't really able to keep me death scrolling, which was a good thing probably. I eventually used revanced to get Sync working again on my phone. Since doing that I've spent maybe 3 hours on Reddit and probably 3 or 4 times that on Lemmy as the communities get more active and I find more communities I want to be a part of.
Wait is they actually a thing that meta has said or is this just a meme? 😂
Same here 😂 saw the Google replay link and clicked through "install" instantly then realized it was just a pre register 😂
Thanks for asking this. This is something I've been serious about for awhile. Turns out while it's expensive in the grand scheme of giant website it's not that expensive money wise. Though it is very time expensive.
I personally stopped browsing Reddit once getting sync. It just FEELS right.
Lemmynsfw.com is larger and I believe they allow just about anything consensual and legal.
PornLemmy.com is more into the vanilla things and is more heavily moderated in the communities and posts they allow there.
Yeah I would think if anything this is more sustainable because you can just easily swap the parts that need upgrading instead of having to scrap the whole laptop.
When I made my account was the first time I used a Firefox relay account for more than just testing how it worked 😂 didn't even think about the fact that fediverse instances are probably "less secure" or could even be outright malicious from the get. Been using bitwarden for about a year now and honestly I love it as well.
Because when you click a link out of link Google or something you try to login and it says your login doesn't work. To actually view that page properly you have to copy the link go you home instance and search it again then go to the post and then you can interact with it. Some people either A. don't realize that or B. Don't understand that's how it all functions. It confused the shit out of me for the first couple days but I just didn't care enough to create a new account because my account "should" have worked there I just didn't know how to make that happen.
Yeah. The owner of my company is like that 😂
As someone who wanted a Tesla for years I agree. But idk what other electric car I would get
Count me in on the group. Have been a family subscriber for awhile. Daughter is 7 and autistic so when an ad pops up she always installs the games then they are horrible and piss her off or she wants me to spend money on it because they force it down your throat. Easier to just give Google some money and not have to deal with it.
thanks for using Leebra!
