I love trashy sci-fi! Any recommendations?

Kim Jong In has effectively eliminated the possibility of revolution/uprising

This is the most surprising aspect to me. I can’t imagine the level of oppression it must take to prevent people who are literally starving to death and watching their families starve to death from taking drastic measures. The soldiers are also watching their loved ones starve to death. What psychological hell they must be living in

Thanks, I’ll check it out!

I probably don’t have much to share that you haven’t read already. I used to love some of the older stuff like Heinlein, the Riverworld series, Xanth novels, Robert Asprin, but I find (for me personally) a lot of that style/era just doesn’t hold up over time. Most of the newer sci-fi that I read feels like it takes itself way too seriously, which has its place but I’m not always in the mood for that. I have really enjoyed the Bobiverse audiobooks though.

Subbed! I hope there’s enough interest to keep it active. I’ll do my part!

That sub looks like a fleshlight.
