As a non American it is always wild to hear such strangely internatilised concepts of how people see the world. This guy received emails saying it was a “liberal conspiracy theory on the weather”, calling climate change a “Biden hoax”. Does someone like that have no concept that this is an issue for the rest of us outside the USA? (Aka the majority of the world). And that it existed for prior administrations too!

If you can make out that it's just a left v right opinion, it steers the conversation away from the damage that is being done and those that are benefiting from it. It's great misdirection, because it means that the common person is doing the arguing on behalf of the corporations doing the polluting.

As a Geelong fan I've tried to get on board with Ratugolea as I see the potential. Love how he hits a packs hard and the change to defence has been a good one. But he's heavy on the unforced errors. I don't trust him by foot under pressure. So I'd rather see who we could pick up for him in an exchange
