The hotel with infinite rooms is a thought experiment meant to show how counter-intuitive the concept of infinity is. It's not a riddle to be solved.

That being said, the idea that an infinite number of guests must be leaving the hotel at any point in time in certainly insightful and creative.

If you wanna go real crazy, take a look at these:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cypress_PSoC

They have integrated hardware, so they are great for all sorts of electronics projects. A bit more towards electrical engineering than raspberry pi though.

This is crazy. I wonder if I could then install waydroid, then Linux in that, then waydroid again...

I prefer an aux cable headset. No charging, no connection issues, and the quality is always 100%. You will also never have compatibility issues.

Might not be for you, but just a thought.

I'm not deaf, but just in case you don't get an answer that stems from personal experience:

Your hearing loss in the one ear is (I'm assuming) caused by the ear canal being blocked. Your sensory organ still hears you chewing because the sound is transferred through the bones of your skull to your ear.

A deaf person has a different problem: their sensory organ is damaged or missing, so it doesn't matter where the sound comes from, they don't hear it.

First off, you are not pathetic, the world is depressing. And just having the intent to do this is a great start. Be kind to yourself, no one else can do that for you.

The first thing to do is forget all of those grand ideas about having a giant garden with all sorts of produce. Even if that is your end goal, don't think about that! It will only demotivate you, because it seems so far away from where you are now.

The second thing to do is go to your local library and get some books about gardening. The simpler the better, is they have gardening books for kids then start with those.

Read those books. Take some easy examples, like herbs, lettuce, or garlic. Start small, and don't overdo yourself. Try to enjoy what you are doing, and stay with the present task. Don't push yourself immediately to do more.

Let that enjoyment be your guide. If you can focus on feeling good about what you are doing, then the rest will come without effort.

I believe this is what the old folks refer to as a "joke".

It is an ancient form of communication, the goal of which is to induce laughter in the recipients. Factual accuracy is often not a concern, and in fact many jokes lack peer review of any kind.

It is indeed a cooling mechanism. Most people don't think about it much, but we humans are expectationally good at shedding excess heat through sweat. Other species don't have such heat dissipation, and Hebe to do whatever they can to get a not of cooling.

This is propoganda. Valve is a privately-owned company, and therefore not a lackey of the olgiarcs, that's why they are being attacked. Valve is good at business and listens to it's customers, and Microsoft can go fuck itself sideways.

Valve's policy is not anti-competitive. If you want to offer your game somewhere other than steam for whatever price you like, you are free to do so. If you use the steam platform to offer the game, then Steam requires you to not offer it for a lower price elsewhere AT THE SAME TIME.

That is not a monopoly, that is a clause of business contract. If a company doesn't want to do business with valve, then they don't have to. The 30% fee is large, but the value that comes with is massive.

This is a meme community. You will probably have better luck at asklemmy or one of the other advice communities.

That being said, I highly doubt that consuming royal honey will affect your sex life. This reeks of snake oil.

Personal Taste ≠ Bigotry

It is ridiculous to think that anyone has to like or prefer something. That's like saying there is something wrong for not liking the taste of licorice. If she thinks two girls kissing is gross, that's fine, she is allowed to feel how she feels. If she thinks that two girls kissing is wrong on some moral or ethical level she is being a bigot.

There is a huge difference there, and it is extremely important in today's world to understand this difference.

But it's obviously a joke. (at least to me)

That means that the text in no way represents anyone's opinion, it's sole purpose is entertainment. If anything, it's a jab at the people that claim to do things because of the idiotic and meaningless "alpha" label, not an endorsement of sloth.

I agree that that solves some problems, 100%. But I've seen the downward slide of society take hard-fought civil rights away for several decades now. It's never a sudden process, it always starts small and then slowly grows.

This is just the beginning, and it should be fought against with tooth and nail now, not just postponed so that we have to deal with this issue once the fascists already have some momentum.

I swear by this book. I have MS, and the muscle tension that sometimes come with it, and the self-massage techniques in this book keep me functioning and sane.

A consistent yoga practice helps too, but you should always learn from someone who is actually qualified, you can really hurt yourself doing yoga if you don't know what you are doing.
