Science fiction? No, indeed! Based on science fact, travel to the moon is predicted within the next thirty years.
Technically not incorrect -- the Apollo 11 mission made it there in 1969, just 12 years after this ad.

Appreciate the emphasis on women's empowerment but I understood there's a movement away from associating the lunar cycle with the menstrual cycle due to the long history of pseudoscience associated with it (and perpetuating the myth that all menstrual cycles are the same length).
As for the piece itself, I didn't understand that those were bones I was looking at but now that that's been explained I am loving the use of shapes and symbols here.
Great piece but I'm having trouble figuring out who or what this is supposed to be referencing? I'm not hallucinating, am I?
That minecart maze can kiss my whole ass, though. It wasn't until listening to a MLP crossover fic of all things almost a year later that I discovered there were audio hints for which way to go. I literally mapped the whole maze out on paper. Not sure if that was an issue of playing RealMyst instead of the original but that was one puzzle I could have done without.
Love how well this recreates the island. I can perfectly recognize all the locales.
I'll take that as a bit of a compliment ↜(`∇´)ψ
But to be sure, you've been seeing these pop up as I post them? Because for me, the later ones keep disappearing.
I may have expressed myself poorly, then, because my point was that people were anthropomorphizing the pencil with googly eyes just the same as they are now with AI. It's not that I blame people for doing what they are innately, biologically programmed to do (form social bonds), it's that people are so blindly against AI that they'll accept wildly incorrect assumptions like (quoting a friend here) "they made an AI work a retail job and it wanted to kill itself" without examining what's at play, like the people who were momentarily horrified that the professor snapped the pencil in half.
Oh, I didn't mean to imply the "getting lost" was a bad thing, per se -- I like the piece because there's always more to see everywhere I look even if there's no singular focal point.
Wrt light and shadow, I think maybe you have the opposite problem -- with the big faces being brighter, my eyes were immediately drawn to them and it wasn't until a second pass that I had noticed the figure whom I assume is Sun Wukong. (Also, from a more scientific point of view, faces tend to draw the eye so all those statues' faces automatically have more magnetism than the less-defined humanoid shape in front and below.) It might have been more effective to have a "light source" emanating from the doorway in the middle. But take any of my advice with a grain of salt, I'm not a visual artist and lack a lot of the vocab to even express what I can see as a layman.
Perhaps it looks familiar to you because the central figure above the entrance portal looks like Bowser from Super Mario Kart
Oh, huh, you're right. Happy little accidents and all that <3
A part of me wants to suggest printing out a copy so you can add a guitar without touching the original, but I don't want to push you into doing more work during the Inktober :v
I am almost continuously reminded of a tumblr post I saw about a college professor that brought in a pencil with googly eyes, did a little voice, then snapped it in half and told the class (of whom at least some gasped in shock) "we're at that stage of AI right now". And that post was years ago now. I know people are apes that pack bond and imprint on anything, but it's getting ridiculous how many people don't recognize it.
Besides the other person pointing out what he may be touching there, it super looks to me like he's shredding on his air guitar.
Really neat piece, tho. I'm not familiar with the name but reminds me a bit of the Kremlings from DKC, except the furry guy in the back looks like a Gengar with long arms.
First of all, love the amount of weird detail on this one. Like everywhere I look there's more to see but also it just gets me more lost.
Second, the style reminds me of something... maybe KSBD?
Firstly,
just like with the fire wolves
Lol typo turning this into the MYSTICAL prompt :P
Secondly, really nice touch with the hand in the background. Really evokes cave paintings to tie even further into your theme.
The detail on this is gorgeous but I gotta comment on the dude because he looks like he's just hanging out. Like, maybe I'm just not familiar with rhinoceros locomotion but it barely looks like that thing is even breaking a brisk trot, much less ending a charge. Just got homo chillensis there lounging on his face.
That's a really neat design. All the dots really add to the motherboard feel of it.
I don't know that what we saw of Haven was the dorms and not the actual schoolbuilding. Since they were so tight on budget that year (due to the whole Gen:Lock scandal) they couldn't have more than a few rooms made.
Penny gave the whole RWBYJNRQO a tour of Atlas Academy in V7, though. RWBY got their own little room with recessed bunk beds. I'd have to look again but I only remember seeing one door in or out of their room which would imply communal toilets etc.
Huntsfolk is not a bad term, actually. I gravitate towards Hunter or Grimm hunter partly because "Huntsmen and Huntresses" is a bit unwieldy, and partly because I'm a fan of the Monster Hunter series and those just use the generic "Hunter" to refer to either gender -- but I will admit to liking phrases like "huntress-in-training" a lot of the time.
kek. I'll have to see what else I can scrounge up ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡° )
It makes the fart go "Honda"
(I'm sorry I couldn't resist the joke)
Been a loooooooong time since I've thought about Aaah! Real Monsters but you just gave me such a weird nostalgia trip.
I'm an outsider (I think the new term is tourist) so take my two cents for all it's worth but I think it looks great for a second-ever stitch.
That's disgusting (complimentary). Please never make anything like this again (affectionate).
thanks for using Leebra!
