As weird as it may seem, this might be a good argument in favor of Pascal. I despised learning it at uni, as it seems worthless, but is seems that it can still handle business-critical software for 20 years.
It happens if you are replying to someone from an instance with strong language requirements (e.g. Kbin). You have to switch to the web interface to be able to select a language.

Bon, il va être temps de revenir sous Linux, le dernier vrai argument qui me faisait rester c'était les jeux, mais ça a l'air de s'être pas mal amélioré récemment (potentiellement grâce au Steam Deck)
That's a fair take. On the other hand, we might need to artificially create some engagement so that new joiners are more inclined to visit Lemmy. That should probably be over once the community is large enough
