considers altering entire network stack to trick a Switch 2 into thinking it never leaves EU soil

"Nah, I'll probably just not buy one. Fuck em."

I feel like I have simpler reasons for leaving Reddit.

The third party apps quit working and the site and app run like shit and take forever to load.

Simple problems, simple solutions.

don't speak a language

have no idea yourself how the end product will turn out

every person you hire has to be trusted with a grain of salt and you have to take them at their word

Nightmare, but now that the game is out, it isn't like the content is under Fort Knox anymore and they can peer review it with the community until its right.

use a VPN in Helsinki with fake ID to create a Facebook page so I can buy a used pushmower in Tennessee.

I remember the day I went why are we all selfhosting and still relying on a site like Cloudflare?.

I'm glad I agreed with me on it.

lmao, of course he is. I've been bashing Brave since Ethereum markets took off and they did their shitcoin that of course they abandoned two months later. Quit blocking ads with grifter software trash like Brave.

Then there's always that one guy who's like "what about memes?"

MSpaint memes are waaaaay funnier than Ai memes, if only due to being a little bit ass.

I have a friend at work who openly confessed to not being able to mentally create images when discussing why he wasn't into reading books.

I was like "Wow, I can't really imagine your reality for myself, that sounds strange."

he said, "Now you're getting it, as I can't imagine it, either."

Video games and film though? 1000X more entertaining for him via his testimony. He can't conjure those images so seeing someone else's interpretation is often thrilling.

Huh, I guess centralizing all of that userdata was a bad idea. Weird. If you hack some dude's Jellyfin, you just hack some dude and no one else.

Telegram ASTOUNDS me.

Like, there's been several instances of them outwardly admitting that their security sucks, not to use it for encrypted chats, that they just give logs away to world governments, and yet thousands of crypto bros and bots use telegram to function, EVEN ZLIBRARY, who could just as easily set up and use Matrix, has a Telegram bot for downloading books.

Good, an influencer in the millions of followers is bringing visibility to FOSS and independent technology.

Bad, he said the n word once and joked about jews when he was in his early 20's.

Devil's Advocate: If pewdiepie was really a nazi, his channel wouldn't be about gaming and tech, it would be two spaces away from Joe Rogan in your podcast app. The dude is harmless.

You guys don't really get it. Back then, people blurted out edgelord shit whether they meant it or even understood it just for a meme or repetition or even quell nervousness on a livestream. God forbid any of you hear recordings from Xbox Live circa 2010.

All this "is he still a fascist talk" speaks volumes. He never was.

I said edgy shit and the n-word online when I was a teen, am I a fascist? Nope, voted blue since Obama and my cousins are hispanic and well loved. Kids gonna kid, adults grow up, realize wtf they were doing was idiotic and move on.

If you're witchhunting fascists and you land on pewdiepie, start back at the top of your list. Your fascometer's sensitivity is too high.
