LLMs are not sentient, but this gimmick doesn't prove that.
There's nothing to indicate the human brain can't be implemented in a Turing machine too.

"Good" news is that AI companies killed the gaming upgrade market, so studios will need to target the same hardware for a while. We might even see the come back of the smart tricks to go beyond the hardware limits era.
⚽ is also an Adidas World Cup match ball.
The difference is that the design was streamlined and iconic enough to be timeless and become the football design in public mind.
Before the Telstar footballs looked like this:
Most countries like to at least pretend universal rule of law is a thing. How much "collateral damage" each country would accept would depend on national culture and how much the super heroes accepted government oversight, but I don't see any government tolerating the average comic book hero as they are portraited.
A superhero can just say go fuck yourself to law enforcement.
At this point they would probably be seen as supervillains by most people, especially if they are routinely destroying half of the city they are "saving".
Even LLMs have use cases were they are a good tool - fixing grammar, low risk translations, etc. Unconstrained chatbots with models that are way past the point of diminishing returns is just not one of them.
Psychics shouldn't need to call anyone besides their broker and bookie.
It's probably not the same word for word, but with very similar structures. And LLMs tend to structure the text in very similar ways that don't feel quite right.
Some reporters tend to take hyperbole too literally.
I just checked and the most expensive restaurant I found in delivery platforms in Berlin costs about 35 Euros per person (with drink, taxes and delivery but without the tip). In most restaurants that would be the price of both meals. 100+ for delivery food is bananas, especially since the transportation is never kind on the food.
What are you ordering? I've seen Michelin star restaurants with cheaper options.
That strategy works if you are applying for a cog in a machine kind of job, it won't work for a personal assistant to the boss kind of job.
Those look like the numbers of the telemetry endpoints, and that's the first thing most forks remove.
The thing with Lukashenko is that no one can trust him.
He has no loyalties except to himself, and no principles besides wanting to remain in power at all costs. Before 2020, he was flip flopping between Russia and Europe on a monthly basis and that only changed because most European countries had enough after the 2020 elections.
These statements will only remain true if Putin doesn't find the right leverage to change his calculations.
"Machine should break the law because other machines are breaking the law" is not a good argument. All new cars should come with speed limiters and every old car going past the speed limit should be turned into a cube at expense of the driver.
Yes, and so can most experienced developers. In fact unmaintainable human-written code is more often caused by organisational dysfunctions than by lack of individual competence.
It's also a lie. LLMs can't replace a single worker, and most CEOs know that, they are using it as an excuse to cover up the consequences of mismanagement and/or increase short term profits at the expense of future growth.
During Gestapo and Stasi times most informants did their best to remain anonymous because no one likes snitches. Openly following someone and bragging about it is sociopathic even by nazi and Stalinist standards.
Mandatory "in the US".
While this one is technically legal in the EU, it would require labeling the salty water as an ingredient if it changes the weight significantly.
Fifa is not involved in host country immigration processes, including visa adjudications
They are responsible for not having changed venues as soon as it was clear the US was not going to make the world cup a safe event for anyone, from fans, to players, to referees.
They are also responsible for not having dequalified the US when they abused their status as an host country to exclude referees or putting undue hardships on other national teams (especially Iran, but plenty of countries had trouble getting their teams in the US). They are opening the precedent that host countries can tip the scale how much they want without consequences.
