My favorite genre! SoL often crosses into other genres, so my answer would probably vary depending on how open we can be!

On the Romance side there's just sooo many I love- My Dress-Up Darling, A Sign of Affection, Horimiya, You and I are Polar Opposites.

For music - K-On and most definitely Sound Euphonium (in my top 3 all time)

Topic-based- DIY, Ruri Rocks, Yuru Camp, New Game

General randomess - Saiki K, YuruYuri

If I had to pick just one it would be Sound Euphonium. Absolutely beautiful series đŸŽ”

Thank you đŸ«‚ I've been through some disastrous code deployments, but I know those experiences could never truly compare to something like this- stress, fear, accountability, and just feeling violated. You all must have put in sooo much effort and had to make some difficult decisions. Thank you for all of your time and knowledge to creating and supporting this space for us đŸ©·

Something I often think about is how gaining perspective is one of the most powerful and influential aspects of being a human! We can find it through experiences, meeting new people, or losing people, safety, privilege, or any other number of things. It can take us deep into ourselves to reevaluate our values, identity, purpose, and what's truly important to us. I also think about how we can slowly lose sight of that perspective, and it takes some other event to open our mind again. Documenting, journaling, or sharing through posts like this are such great ways to anchor ourselves to those moments in our lives, so I'm super happy you shared and had something/someone shake up your mind and cause so much introspection!

The generics of 30mg Vyvanse in the morning and 10mg Ritalin in the afternoon (as needed)- usually around 9am and then 2pm. Seems to work pretty well for me!

It could be that Gemini was unsettled by the user's research about elder abuse, or simply tired of doing its homework.

That's... not how these work. Even if they were capable of feeling unsettled, that's kind of a huge leap from a true or false question.

I got curious and did a bit of searching since I couldn't really think of anything. Apparently Fender (guitars) was originally amazing, was sold to another company and really degraded in overall quality, and then was purchased back by some of its engineers and returned to a better quality. Pretty nice to see that people who were actually passionate about something regaining control and saving something they loved.

Soooo much appreciation for this đŸ©· I think I'll forever mentally twitch when people use dude, man, mate, bro, etc. towards me. I totally know it's done in a gender neutral way, but I still feel a small pang in my heart.

Recently...they've kind of just adopted me. I'm incredibly shy, but I had been going to a little local coffee shop (just to get out of the house) and always tried to be kind and engage with the people working there when they would talk with me. I had a few really emotional weeks, and one of the owners picked up on it. She handed me a note with her number, and let me know I could always talk with her. She ended up inviting me to a little Halloween pumpkin painting night with some of her friends, and I connected with them super well! Now they invite me out to little activities, food, movie nights, etc.

That's kind of how I've meant most of the friends I've had- be kind, be interested, and be present! People get more comfortable the more they see you around, so even if you're a little shy or awkward, someone might extend a hand and bring you into their circle.

I once had a meltdown when I was suuuuper young after my dad threw away my bowl of salad, which at that point was just the cucumbers I was saving as they were my favorite part. He yelled at me for crying and thought I left them because I didn't like them, my mom comforted me and yelled back at him explaining why I ate that way. One of the many moments that I'm sure compounded until their eventual divorce. Yay traumatic memories! So going to buy some cucumbers when I go to the store next đŸ€€

Definitely! I feel like this was fairly common knowledge even a decade ago and why people would quickly rebound back to previous size and strength when returning to fitness- muscle memory due to myonuclei persisting even when the actual tissue atrophies. I guess this is an additional state of memory for the body. Super neat!

Honestly so lucky that they had all those laser hair removal sessions a year before the world ended đŸ€

So true.. I'm super shy and introverted. My extroverted friends who essentially adopted me are the brightest parts of my life. They've allowed me to experience things I never would have and are incredibly patient and understanding when I need me time.

Sooo true! Every friend I have that has a partner/so has or is playing BG3 together. I love hearing them talk about their adventures and always giggle when they get to the romantic side of things - never any jealousy, just cheering each other on đŸ€

Just a reminder that Tidal is amazing, has higher quality audio, a real shuffle, daily playlists, doesn't shove podcasts in your face, pays artists more, and provides ways to import your playlists over đŸ©· I also listen to some pretty obscure music and haven't had issues not finding songs.

I was slightly critical of this post and tone, buuuut after checking all the recent posts...it is quite excessive.

I think the general post about the new instance is perfect, and maybe including a link to a nsfw specific 'new communities' sub that's part of the new instance.

The interview process is what is causing me the most anxiety right now. Lost my job at the end of June, and I KNOW I need to be looking harder, but I'm just dreading the whole interview process. I've been procrastinating like crazy...I just don't want to relearn a whole culture of a new team; it's so mentally draining. 12 years somewhere and the idea that I have to start all over again...😭

I feel like we often do đŸ€” Celebrities publicize their newborns and children. Those children are then pushed into it/take up whatever their parents became famous for and might also find fame... Which is kind of unfortunate in some ways due to how exploitative the entertainment industry is to children.

I don't even understand what's being asked. Women can be gay, so the title itself is baffling. Implying that men wearing pink or any type of physical presentation implies anything about someone's sexuality is just weird. Yes, as society moves past its weird obsessions about people's sexuality, we'll see more of every type of couple and relationship dynamics.

This is actually something I've learned more recently, especially with women, is pretty common. Reaching orgasm during sex often requires a lot of focus on feelings (physical, mental/emotional) and being present - ADHD brains can struggle staying present which then leads to less orgasm frequency during sex. I personally have had issues with this and have had partners with similar experiences - the best way I was able to help them was to be very vocal and engaging to keep them with me in the moment (talking in their ear, asking questions, etc) . One of my friends recently noticed that she's enjoying intimacy far more now that's she's being treated for her ADHD.

A long time ago, as I was getting ready to get dinner with a friend. I asked her if she could start my dishwasher. It was all loaded and just needed the detergent which was under the sink...well, we got back and the kitchen was flooded and filled with suds and bubbles. Turned out she used the dish soap next to the sink instead of the detergent. Cleaned it up, laughed, and was reminded of the different experiences we all have from people who grow up in more wealthy households.
