Whatever damn fool did this has just made the situation about a million times worse. I don’t give a shit who did this, it was the worst move you could have made at the worst time you could have made it.

And those of you jumping to immediate conspiracy theories need to stop and think about how much we tend to make fun of Republicans for doing literally the exact same thing. Us spending the next 3 days circlejerking each other off our own bullshit conspiracy theories isn’t gonna help the situation, its just gonna make us all look like a bunch of hypocrites. Wait a few days, get whatever info they are willing to give us, and then try to figure out what happened. If it still looks fake or like a false flag or whatever the fuck after that point, whatever. but for gods sake use some critical thinking to get there instead of jumping to conclusions with no info.

For what its worth, I am extremely anti-trump, I am scared shitless of what will happen should he win a second term. But dear god, please think about the way you all are acting, when you act like the same kind of psychopaths you claim to stand against it is not a good look. please consider that before you post.

"Struggling" implies the American Auto industry is at least trying to keep pace. But really, they aren't trying at all. They are content to sit back thinking their current flock of geese will lay golden eggs forever even as more and more of those geese drop dead from old age.

Well fuck, I don't like Netanyahu at all. I guess that makes me a literal Nazi.... I dunno man, I feel like I would make a pretty shit Nazi, I just don't really hate Jewish people. Only Netanyahu. Heck, I don't even hate Netanyahu for being Jewish, I just hate him because he is a bloodthirsty genocidal fascist lunatic. But it is what it is, I guess.

If it bugs them that badly, I say people need to do it even more.

In a few months they will try again with "a completely different and 100% trusted group with no ties whatsoever to Persona and/or Peter Thiel". By which I mean the exact same fucking company acting through a proxy. Don't let this theater prevent you from leaving to a better platform. It's still coming, they just want to wait for people to get complacent again.

Good call. I applaud your courage confronting them about this and applaud you even more for having the conviction to drop them over it. It is extremely unprofessional allowing religion in the workplace to that degree, and "unprofessional" sure as hell isn't something you want in your doctor.

Has Bipartisan support too. The corporations want this, and both of our parties listen to them first and us a distant second. Catering to corporate wants is about the only thing the two parties can agree on. It's probably going to pass, even if I hope it doesn't. Buckle up my friends...

This does concern me frankly. Hopefully its all just his usual limpdick saber rattling. The problem is, if something like this does happen, at this point I don't trust anybody to stop it. Democrats are too busy playing theater and bending the knee to their corporate overlords to oppose anything Trump does at this point past their usual finger wagging and "almost maybe going to send a sternly worded letter at some point" responses. And if the Supreme Court doesn't give him the nod to do this he can just, you know, ignore them. Not like he's faced consequences for that the past... ever.

It's a feature, not a bug. Not sure why so many headlines keep acting like it's some kind of accident.

Yeah, the SSN system is the stupidest freaking thing ever for all the crap we use it for. but trying to implement a better system is met with cries of "GOVERNMENT OVERREACH, COMMUNISTS! OH GOD IN HEAVEN, MUH RIGHTS!!!1!". So....we haven't really done anything about it, and probably won't in my lifetime.

They love Neo-Nazis. What they don't love is when they get too loud or conspicuous, because it costs them PR points (sometimes). This is the only reason the right wing will ever so much as give lip service to thinking these people might be anything less than "very fine people".

The phase "My body my choice" springs to mind.

Is being fat unhealthy? yes. does it give you the right to decide what another person does with their body? no. "But the corporations are-" yes, I know. but it is entirely possible to campaign for better nutrition standards without treating fat people as subhuman.

I'm not telling anyone they have to force themselves to find fat people attractive or anything, but for gods sake they are still people. and what they do with their body is their business, not yours. That should not take away their right to be human.

There's another amendment written with people like Trump in mind too, but since that one involves bloodshed people really don't want to go for it. Neither do I, frankly, not if there is any other way. Think we may be running out of road on other options though. I can only hope things are resolved before it becomes necessary. Trump is a tyrant, however and he acts as though he is a king. Founding fathers were pretty clear on what to do about those. Hopefully more civil methodology will prevail.
