Tankies, Russians and Trump have one thing in common. They hate the “west” and they want to see it burn. They’re the same cancerous toxic garbage.

Why do people on Lemmy always find a way to make everything about liberals? That’s what I’m getting tired of. Whenever something happens, people come up saying “well yeah, liberals suck”. How is that better than the thing you’re arguing against? If you’re tired of “satisfaction with hypocrisy” of one group, what is your prefered group doing? Is there someone actually doing something about it? Because I only see people writing stuff on internet forums, regardless of their affiliation.
He won’t. He’ll just have a million of “convenient” reasons why Russian terrorism is good, because it’s a terrorism against “bad west” and fascists and liberals. Like all of those ml bots always do.
I wouldn’t say they lost. Not by a long shot. I understand the sentiment of “let’s get rid of them! Now’s the best time to do that”. But there’s still A LOT to do to make that happen.
But obviously - let’s contribute to that as much as possible.
I’m not an expert in this field, so other people might have something else to add, but my takeaway is mostly - do not rely on phone services. Don’t use MFA via SMS, etc. Most of the issues described, you can avoid if you’re careful, except the geolocation issue.
I agree. I just don’t like the attitude where internet is already declaring “victory” when so far not much has been done.
I understand that people got angry (partially because of “Canada + Europe vs USA” stuff; partially because people are already pissed at Big Tech). I also understand that inside of niche communities people are trying to do something and are getting hyped.
The problem is when people start extrapolating the view of “their” community to the whole world. “Everyone is ditching big tech! I read about that every day! (In a community populated by likeminded people)”. And suddenly there are “victorious” headlines and people get complacent. “Yeah Big Tech, you lost… That’s what you get for messing with us”.
I might be preaching to the choir, but we shouldn’t get complacent this time.
Do you think he’s aware that their beloved Russians are bombing a country every day for few years now…? But I guess that’s fine for people like him, because obviously - Ukrainians are bad because they’re supported by the “Satan West”.
The lineup of games which they presented is quite impressive (from Switch perspective). But I’m curious what will be actual real life performance of those. I mean, a lot od things they added are cute, bute the performance is #1 motivation to buy a new generation.
Do you have some specific features that are “must have” for you? I’m using the calendar from Proton (considering that I’m using their services as a bundle for mail+drive, I thought “why not”). So far I haven’t found any issues with that, but I’m not a “calendar heavy” user.
My only minor gripe is, that their ipadOS application is just a port from the iOS, not a full-fledged tablet version.
Very first that I bought? Deus Ex. By that time I already played it quite a lot, but I felt that it deserves buying even though I didn’t have any income at that age. Looking back at that seems nostalgic. It had a proper manual and everything. It even seemed somehow “magical”, because as kids we weren’t really used to owning games (as in our “own” games, not just something borrowed from a friend which was usually just burnt on empty CD). Good times.
thanks for using Leebra!
