Those soles look like Styrofoam. Rubber does break down over time, so does plastic, but those soles look sus. They appear to be a generic brand too. I believe the manufacturers put together the cheapest shoe possible with 100-1000% mark-up. I've had $60 shoes from Kohls have sole failure after being worn 3x because they were made hollow instead of solid.

I lived in Dallas for 3 years. Traffic was bad. I was lucky to live 3 miles from work and cycled. I had to pass through a meth infested neighborhood and streets with 6 lanes of traffic with 45 mph speed limits. Top 2 things to do when vacationing in Dallas is leave, and never come back.

Current AA, AAA games are operating on subscription models that end up costing the consumer hundreds of dollars. If you're going to save time/money by using AI and not lower the price, a subset of consumers are going to be justifiably pissed. (Presumably less jobs are created due to the use of AI, so the money I pay isn't being reinvested into communities via local payroll, and now unemployed artists, writers, and coders are being a drain on tax based safety nets. That AI is a drain on water and electric infrastructure that may impact me directly if I live in the vicinity of a data center. The implications are larger than people not wanting AI in games.) If the AI elements are bad/game breaking, or if they don't deliver value for price, studios/publishers deserve the hate.

Mountain bike, studded tires, fat tire bike. I live in Albany, NY and we get a fair amount of snow. I generally do not ride my bike during the months of January and February. December and March gets snow too, but it usually isn't as bad during those months. Even after the roads get plowed, you will have to contend with ice, and a reduced shoulder, which makes riding in the winter inherently very risky. You will also have to contend with the cold, wet, and windchill, which are no joke. Be sure to invest in waterproof and insulated gear. I decided broken limbs, discomfort, and the wear and tear caused by the elements wasn't worth it. I ride the bus during those months. Stay safe.

It's a symptom of the fact that US manufacturing has declined so hard over the past 70 years. One of our biggest exports is petrol products. As governments across the world race to implement renewable infrastructure, that industry will decline as well. Instead of extracting value out of tangible goods, the investor class has had to move to extracting wealth from predatory bullshit and the necessities required for life. This is on top of the wage stagnation and oppression of labor. The US is cooked.

This article reads like AI slop. Here is an articulate article. I can only assume that the word leopard made it into this article because it was a reference to leopards eating faces, as in, "I voted for anti abortion, but I thought my need for abortion was sacrosanct."

This article does not #talklikea.pro .

If I buy a physical board game, I can keep playing it as long as I still have the game in my possession. Video games should be no different.

Maybe CBS should stay in their own lane and focus on all of the theft and embezzlement happening inside the Trump administration. Stones and glass houses. I'd like to hear more about that. But yeah faking a kidnapping to extort money from your tax paying citizens is disgusting no matter who does it.

I'm pretty sure that making accounts to farm and manipulate karma are against the reddit guidelines. Most of us here hate reddit and aren't interested in helping you manipulate karma.

I just got a letter regarding my FED tax return. They won't send me a paper check due to an executive order signed by orange hitler. I absolutely do not want the federal government to have access to my bank data considering all the other rights violated along with the constitution. I now have to open a new checking account with $50 so I can get my shitty $50 refund without trump having access to my main account. (What's to keep them from labeling me a terrorist and freezing my accounts? Gonna make that shit as hard as possible.)

Fetterman is a brain damaged Dino. I doubt anyone would notice a TMNT, krang like implantation of Bitch McConnel's brain into Fetterman. It's the perfect plan for Moscow Mitch, Russia's Bitch.

Cory Booker - Senator (New Jersey), U.S. Senate. 100% shocked by this one.

The solution is so simple. Crop/pollen diversity. Instead of letting fields lay fallow for crop rotation, they could plant diverse wildflower meadows to improve quality of bee health for the traveling bees that get shipped around for crop rotation. Or the bee keepers themselves that sell the services of their bees, could ensure diverse flower and pollen options when their bees aren't traveling.

Remember when the Democrats cock blocked AOC from the oversight committee in favor of a 75 year old with esophageal cancer, that ended up dying anyway? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
