Dude, it's a party politics problem really, compounded by corrupt electoral bullshit like the electoral college, gerrymanderind and malapportionment. The two party nominees at any election have never been the parties' best and/or brightest.

They're more powerful and influential than you think - they're not going anywhere. They might change their policies to suit the times (remember Lincoln was a Republican) but the so-called "Grand Old Party" ain't going nowhere unfortunately.
That's the trouble with words like 'artificial' and 'natural'. They mean nothing. It would be better to call them refined additives, because I expect the "stevia" would be in a refined, extracted form when added - whether substantially changed from the form present in the plant or not, this could be considered artificial, if we insist on using this word.
It really means the bosses can't preside over a culture of fear quite so well if people aren't cowering outside their offices seeking their attention. They like to be the centre of attention and work being done remotely makes them feel just as meaningless as the rank and file workers.
I don't get upset about people not voting, I just believe democracy works better in countries where voting is compulsory. Also, a much easier change that few would oppose is that election day should be on the weekend. Well, the Jews and Christians might fight it out, but they both suck.
If it kills the host, it's not a very successful parasite, or it's a parasitoid as only one other commenter has picked up. It's not in parasites' interest to kill their hosts, it usually happens when they infect a non-preferred host and the system responds differently, like the pork tapeworm Taenia solium which doesn't kill pigs but can be lethal in humans.
Democracy is a continuum, and we trade individual rights for collective benefits, like making healthcare and education free (and compulsory) for a better society. Americans just didn't read the contract and individuals are now fucked over in favour of the state and its oligarchs. You can disagree with me if you're an anarcho-syndicalist but my comparison relates to current, existing democracies (e.g. Belgium, Australia)
The logical error here is assuming it's about skin colour when it's in fact about centuries of exploitation in Africa that Musk benefited hugely from. I suppose it's not a logical error if one doesn't know about the history of colonialism in Africa.
It's reasonable to assume that any white person who lived in southern Africa (Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa in particular) moved there not for the safari or the lifestyle but for the eye-watering profits that came from exploiting the land as their resource and its peoples as their labour. A lot of contrarian arguments that get voted down on the internet focus on the minority view, and I think this is where you're coming from - unfortunately in the case of colonial Africa, there aren't very many clean hands at all, even if they weren't the ones being cut off.
