I'm from the Netherlands and use a bicycle for most of my daily commute. What isn't mentioned in the article: cycling is also dirt cheap. I bought a new bicycle 8 years ago for 500 euro, needed two times a repair of around 100 euro in total. That's like 3 months of owning a cheap car

https://discuit.substack.com/p/introducing-discuit here they state explicitly they don't want federation. He also explains why he thinks federation doesn't work, however I don't find these arguments convincing

Altough it is not really stupid, I bought the game Witcher 3 expecting I would'nt like it much. Turned out it is the best game I've played and bought the expansions too

Does it include users from Threads?

But what we forget is that not long ago Lemmy was very empty at least in my experience. So I left for some period, but when I came back July this year it was just completely changed. And it stayed this way, I don't need reddit anymore personally

I've watched the movie some time ago, but I think it's not really cyberpunk as it is mostly about contemporary society. If it would be cyberpunk it would have been about how modern technology is affecting us

Would be cool to see chess on the fediverse

A bicycle

Isn't it every country that does that now? Except some small countries like for example Bhutan

Vraag me af of ze ook present zijn op de fediverse?

I can also recommend Rota, it's a relatively new puzzle platformer. https://snapcraft.io/rota

Don't worry, everything is fine. 🤡

Helaas wel.

Any app that supports topics?

Yes, I can imagine..

I think it can only pull off when there are ways you can support the artist, with donations for example

Sounds good, would also be great to have some platform on the fediverse where open source music is shared, so that anyone could make their own spotify-like app to listen to it. And it would need to get some way to donate to the artists

Thanks for the link! I will check it out

When I played open source games around 15 years ago, these were all the same games mentioned. There doesn't seem to be a lot of progress
