Good job ifixit! This should be a cause for outrage. Pretending to support the right to repair while also softwarelocking repairs is not just two faced, but actively harming the consumers.
@lemm.ee
Bro we got a lot of career politicians that have had their families intrinsically tied to our political sphere for ages. Also we have an insane revolving door of people being in politics and doing "lobbying" depending on the way the wind blows. There was also a bigger article with the actual stats on how often this has happened but I can't find it. Anyway ..
From last year: https://www.vg.no/...
Edit here it is: https://www.vg.no/spesial/2020/pr-politikk/
Sorry, but she had a ton of hype and squandered it by saying she would be the same as Biden, would have the most lethal military, didn't separate on Gaza, focused on small businesses instead of all Americans, flipflopped on Medicare and fracking in both the worst ways, picked a progressive vp and caged him in bad neoliberal talking points instead of adopting his hard agenda, and tried to push for a republican written border bill instead of trying to reframe the issue in a any progressive way. Most Americans, Republicans included care about immigration and ALSO agree on a pathway to citizenship.
People gave her the benefit of the doubt and she told them to accept her as she wanted to be. You can't continue to shame a voter base indefinitely, politicians are supposed to campaign in a way that wins votes.
As a Norwegian person doing research, I am very happy that they are doing this, especially after the recent years' insane missteps. Massacring scientific funding was one disgrace. Hopefully it makes us more attractive.
Tuition for non-EU citizens is another disgrace, and only got introduced because Norway is exceptionally bad at tapping into that market of recently graduated Bachelor's/Master's/PhD holders that we are educating. We need to have a better pipeline from uni-industry in general for Norwegians too, but for foreigner students who take a whole degree here only to be pushed away after we've already invested in them is so backwards. Please fix!
Fantastic adaptation. Finished God Emperor earlier this month and had a blast with this. I think most of the changes were good to remove the campy nature of Alia going full on demon baby.
So many beautiful shots, and it felt amazing to see the first sandworm scene for Paul look exactly like I expected it to.
Bravo
To give you a second opinion from the other guy, I've had quite a few Samsungs in a row at this point. From Galaxy S2 to S23Ultra skipping years between every purchase.
They are effectively the premium vendor of Android, at least for western audiences. The midrange has some good ones, but other companies do well there too. At the high end, Samsung might lose out a bit to google on images of people, but the phones Samsung sell are well built, have a long support life, have lots of features that usually end up being imported to AOSP and/or Google's own version of Android. The last few generations are the Apple of Android. The AI features they've added can be run on device if you want, and idk what the other guy is talking about, but the AI features aren't that obnoxiously pushed on my device, the S23 Ultra. I have some things on, most things off. Then again, I've used HTC for a few years and iPhone for two weeks, so except for helping my dad with his Pixel 6a while that device lasted, I've not really tried other brands. The added customization on Samsung is kind of a problem for me, because I don't feel like changing brands after being able to customize so much out of the box.
And I've never had issues connecting to a simple Windows computer, given that the phone has always been able to use the normal Plug-and-play driver that is there already. If you have a macbook like I do, it's a bit cringe, but that's a macbook issue moreso.
Not OP but I'd wager he will say that you shouldn't treat them like kids, that's already looking down on them. Just because they got duped repeatedly doesn't mean we shouldn't lose our ability to empathize. They just started their introspective, assist it as much as you can and you can make them go from conservative to progressive even. The movement needs all the pebbles it can get.

Honestly everytime I have to feel proud for sailing I dance like an idiot while the magnet links are being being pasted on the real debrid
If they are voting in the primary, I doubt they will skip the general election. It's more than likely a reminder to the administration that their voter base is not happy with the current decision making. If they are protesting stuff like this, they are most likely D voters anyway (over 90 % of D voters are pro-ceasefire vs 53? % for the R voterbase.
Helt enig. Det må i alle fall være grenser. Utrolig nok burde vi faktisk ikke strebe etter å bli fun light Amerika. USA sitt system feiler mye pga de økonomiske interessene som gjennomsyrer politikken. Ikke la det skje, folkens.
I think there is a case to be made that false statements in the public made with the explicit of driving public or political discourse or to drive verifiably unproven sentiments should be considered fraudulent or anti-democratic, or at the very least that the burden falls on the media to brand the information as verifiably misleading.
Allowing bad faith actors to exist seems to be a major issue strictly because their information is spread without context.
