You guys go through PMs like toilet paper and we have no one in power willing to get rid of one Alzheimer’s riddled asshole who excels at fucking up.
@discuss.online
It’s so hard to fathom this dependency as a Xennial who did multiple degrees without cheating. I’m not fond of multiple guess tests but not everything can be an essay test. Even so, either is good.
Then, this week, I saw this posting re kids in school not being able to read, more so than usual. Reading a paragraph is teachers “asking too much” and more to that effect. I’m sitting on that line we’ve been in when you hear a batshit post about Trump and initially think, no, no one is that…and then acknowledge that it could be true.
If true, the AI dependency is not surprising.
It looks good. Where did you get the cushions and how much did they cost?
Aside:
Buying plans usually isn’t necessary. Between Libby magazine rack (free fine woodworking, wood, etc, going back 2yrs), the hard copy book side of the library (always different inventory than digital), the Internet archives, Kreg, and Ana White (which is where I thought you pulled this pattern at first glance…a lot of YT creators appear to use AW stuff), you don’t need to buy plans. Ofc, if you like a YT-er and want to pay them, there is that.
I’m not defending maga, or some of the shit that’s gone down prior in our long and sometimes sordid history. Everyone has better healthcare, undisputed. But most of my commentary here and in RL comes from this. I believe, in any place, relationship, government where women do not have the legal equality and freedom of men, I see it as evil. I include my own government and country in that estimation. Secular or religious, that context matters not at all, to me. That’s not fed by propaganda. If a woman chooses a certain life, cool. If it’s thrust upon her by circumstance, that’s different.
I am curious. How much of the story of Melina Asadi’s death and such was real and how much was propaganda? I followed those stories.
I mean, it’s not a bad play to stop Israel’s genociding. To be clear, Iran’s regime is evil, they treat their people, especially women, terribly. Meanwhile, Israel has gone off the rails and there doesn’t seem to be a single western power willing to sit them down and have an intervention to get them off this bender of blood and ruin.
So, Iran, of all people, is going to force the point by closing the straight until they do.
You need another YouTube. Free for anyone to post, the same volume, the same storage. Nebula is elite and paid. You and I can’t post on it. The others I’ve seen contain a handful of conspiracy theorists and Linux people.
When I was house shopping, before interest rates shot up, I wouldn’t look at a house less than 50 yrs old. Bought a 90 year old house. When you examine the layout and decisions made they all make sense in terms of land layout as well as function, as demo-d in the street facing part of the design in the photos. With my house, there’s a slight almost undetectable slope to the land, and the house is in the geographic center of the “peak”. Meanwhile, a neighborhood down the way is complaining of foundation and wall cracks inside the first 5 years.
There’s this weird idea that any new house will be problem free. Never. Seriously. Never. Your mortgage is always always always the minimum monthly. (Having a house is a hobby whether you want it to be or not.)
Plus. HOA single family homes are sad and lack longevity. The lack of real wood is depressing and icky. Great windows and insulation factor though, to start. Even so.
As is, mine is mostly wood, apart from some shitty prior owner decisions on doors. And white paint. 8 foot wide porch that’s more than a suggestion. I have a whole desk out there. No plastic exterior in a set of dull colors. Brick part of the porch left unpainted, thank Christ. An actual parcel of land. No HOA.
And there’s always something that needs addressing.
thanks for using Leebra!
