By the end of 2nd paragraph I suspected it was a vegan satire site. Not that much of an achievement, considering the next one states that plainly, but there's just something a bit... insincere (?) about the whole thing.
Its one higher than 195.
195 is a long deactivated precursor subreddit (there's also 197 that was created because some people didn't like 196 I think? đ¤), I was never there, don't ask me what the 195 means.
Cacti and carnivorous plants are super cool tho??? Especially that you get cacti cuz of how resilient they are, a great first plant, can recommend. And growing your own food/spices as well? Also Ive never seen that stereotype lmao
Yeah, Ive seen so little of gay man representation that when I do it feels almost like finding a shiny pokemon. Lesbians are not threatening to the bigot's eye and thus if media shows gayness, it's almost always lesbian gayness
Well rn lab grown meat is even worse in terms of CO2 than animal farming, so don't get your hopes up yet. Yeah, sure, it means less animals getting thrown into the torture and murder machine, but if you really want to make a difference it's by convincing peoples to go vegan, at least in this decade
Im no scholar of the genre I dont think marxism can fix cyberpunk, im gonna be honest. You strike - you get gunned down by robotized police force, and even if you weren't it ain't like there ain't people hungry enough to take your job. Solidarity of the people is completely eroded by the fact that you have to fight with others just like you for basic resources. Individuality is all people have left, sometimes not even that. There is no law beyond money. Where do you even start trying?
It's just about the basic needs here. Its actively damaging to develop without those being met. And even if it does make a few more assholes, this is still the point - here are some stupid assholes that deserve to be given the guarantee of survival
I would appreciate an explanation why it is fascistic in particular. Is it about today's AI companies? Is there something inherently fascistic in large scale algorithms that try to imitate humans? Valuing aesthetics of knowing the truth over the process of learning? I see the correlation, not as much the connection
Am I getting it right: An unactive mod got de-moded, in their farawell post they say that its fair but also leftist infighting bad and the situation is somehow interpreted by MLs as them being actively opposed?
If that's what it is, its so funny
