I think they might not have stopped completely, but it seems they let very few devices to unlock like 10 per day. But if that's the case, then they give no choice but to show a freshly roll out middle finger.

Actually i was using linux for years but had to switch to windows for research analysis software purpose. In that i used to have adb to remove google and other bloatware applications. Though its not permanent atleast they don't run either. Right In the windows too i have installed the adb. If so like you are saying that we can unlock bootloader without xiaomi then it really great thing. But i hope I don't brick my phone in the process, though its old phone i still use to avoid overuse of my current phone.

I wanted to unlock bootloader in my redmi note 7 pro so that i can boot lineage os. But to unlock it i need to use miui account and xiaomi unlock tool application in pc. So in that process my device should be recognized by the application while its in fastboot but the application doesn't detect it. Yet the laptop detected my phone but not the application did not. That's the problem here. Got it? Just like the xy problem.

I think i should look into that part. I actually used usb type c port but i tried with usual usb port too. But the result were same, may be this time i will try to share if anything weng alright.

To be Frank guys this is the sick reality of Indian workers in India. The Labour and Workers are always exploited as much as Possible. Indian Labour Law is mostly in Favor of the Corporate Crooks, even its harder to start a WORKER UNION in Service based sectors like IT and Non coding Jobs. Normal working hours is 8 hrs but most Indian worker in such sectors their minimum working hour is 10hr (Personal experience), even the work environment it evolved into is one Most Sick and Selfish environment you could ever Imagine. Yes, sadly many Indians Lack Civic sense I don't object and we too are being discriminated in a stereotypical way for that. But I must say that many Indians who leave for On-site is not just for higher payroll but for better Work environment and to embrace their basic Work-Life Balance which is a JOKE in India.

Damn... all this happening after I left PopOs. Hope they catchup with the current Ubuntu version of 24 as they are still in 22.7 as i can remember. tbh their outdated version is the one of main reason I left it first hand and also their nvidia driver issue harder to fix or downgrade. Hope they fix their credibility in upcoming release.

Yes even I did use it in my old TV as its Android version is so outdated on this one was present, now in the new one there are many but I'm looking for open source as I use open source usually, BTW thanks for suggesting.
