Check back in a couple of hours to see that the account will have been deleted. It seems to be a pattern of accounts being created, posting a bunch of news-like links, and then being purged. It is probably to make it impossible to filter out whatever it is they're trying to push.

Didn't even know an instance could block a specific community of another instance. I thought the only option was defederation. Is there any way to see/list the communities blocked by an instance?

I curse the day I acquired reading comprehension!

I don't know what you'd consider not expensive, but keycapsss.com is based in Germany if I recall correctly.

Looks like it's currently at 547 days. Unless we're talking about my desktop computer, then it's rarely above 18 hours.

I blame management for the existence of option d

Själv kommer jag nog inte att lägga ner mitt redditande förrän den sista juni när API-ändringarna slår igenom på riktigt, men tänker ändå att jag håller mig borta 12:e och 13:e.

I agree with the sentiment, but to be fair, the two latest major Linux vulnerabilities have been present in the kernel since around 2017, which predates vibe coding by a couple of years.

oooOOOOO!

I mean, sure, but that's mostly because I've gotten absolutely no feedback

I am relatively new to fountain pens, but so far the pens I have used always started to write immediately even after a week of not being used. By recommendation of most of the articles I've found on the subject I've also always stored them vertically with the cap pointing upwards.

I've been toying with very similar ideas thinking that if I run my own instance I would at least be 100% certain that my account would never be deleted or held hostage by a rouge server admin. But then I would have to deal with the security of my own instance instead, trading one headache for another and I'm not sure that it would be worth it.

Hah, like that's gonna stop me! Bring on the coming decades, my body is ready!

How does the fine nib on this compare to other Lamy fine nibs? Same thickness, or different?

The general consensus seems to be that Japanese pens usually are one "step" finer when it comes to nib thickness so that a Japanese fine is usually the same as a non-japanese extra fine.

Developed by Avalanche Studios, but published by Square Enix, as far as I'm aware

I wouldn't spend any more energy on them. They made it clear that they're here to talk at people rather than talking with people.

That lists entirely blocked instances (defederated instances), yes, but the original post talks about blocking specific communities of an instance, which I didn't think was possible.
